Otto the Book Bear in the Snow: 2 (Otto the Book Bear, 2)

The first Otto book is my 3year old sons favourite (he requests it most nights as a bed time story and knows all the words - is there anything cuter than a three year old mispronouncing 'downhearted') so we were looking forward to the release of this new book. It's a lovely story, but unfortunately, for my boy it doesn't have the same appeal. We've shared it a few times but he's not that interested. This might be just because he loves the original so much. All in all it's a lovely book and the two books together would make a great goft for a child under 7, but ultimately I agree with the boy and would say it doesn't have the appeal of the first book.

Well my twins are huge fans of the first book - Otto the Book Bear, so this was greatly received by them at Christmas time. If you're looking at getting this and don't already have it, then get the first book also, so you'll understand where Otto came from.This story is very simple, but pleasant, and it was lovely to get a follow on from the first book as my two love Otto and Ernest so much. They've even got teddy bears named after them!

Colourful lively traditional children’s story

We borrowed this book from the library and have since gone on to buy it because my 2 year old daughter loves it so much. It is a really charming story that has captured her imagination.

Lovely story, lovely illustrations, and having now met the author she was delightful too!
