Okallo Products Abec-7 Precision Skateboard Bearings - 8 Pack

i bought these bearings to use in a project i had been thinking of doing for my wife's chinchilla...the little critter has a habit of eating the plastic exercise wheels and injuring himself on the metal wire grate exercise wheels...so i came up with an idea of using a steel bucket and a 15" wooden wheel for the center...i just couldnt think of something to use as a smooth running bearing that would also be quiet...then i thought about skate board bearings...they take a beating and still run smooth, they should be able to handle a 2 lb critter running on a wheel made with them...bought these Abec-7's as i couldnt justify buying anything of better grade...Swiss bearings were way out of the question...these worked out great though...i used two for the center support bearing and two on legs for extra support to prevent the center bearings from coming out...i used an epoxy to attach the center bearings to the wood wheel...the little guy loves it! runs on it all the time...and the best part is it doesnt squeak like his old ones did...
