I have not tested this outdoors, but that is mainly because that isn't what I bought it for.These little microphones are pretty great, honestly! I use it for a mic set up on my laptop (therapy, gaming while traveling, . . .) the quality is really good, it connects very well to the dongle provided, it's very simple to use which makes it quick and easy to set up. The case it comes in is smaller than my phone, so it's a good size to travel with. And so far, I can go long periods before charging the case/mics so the battery lasts a decent amount of time. I've had these little mics for a bit and they have been pretty sturdy too. The. Clips are still in tact, the filters are pretty clean/not fraying or breaking, buttons all work just fine.I do use them for just me, so I will also switch off using both mics which might extend their battery life. Overall I do love these little mics. The range is great too. I can walk around my whole room and put into my hallway before connection gets even close to shotty! It is also a close range mic (as to be expected and hoped) so, the mic has to be on me or I have to be right up on it for people to hear me. Sometimes I'll hang it on my vine plants if I'm on a call with a friend while I'm changing and I'll have to talk loudly or close to the plant to hear them.If I ever try them outdoors I'll update my review!

I was looking for something low priced that would work for vlogging and interviews. I seen several wireless mic sets that were only about $10-$12 but I was afraid that the quality wouldn’t be good, so I decided to purchase this one. It’s not the cheapest but also definitely not the most expensive. Everything in the photo is what it comes with. The sound quality is good (considering the price), the distance is good, and set up is really easy. I’d like to note that the light on my receiver stays red constantly when it’s connected, although the instruction booklet says it should be constant GREEN when connected. I have an iPhone 15, not sure if that matters or not. After 10 minutes of trying to figure out why it wasn’t turning green, I decided to try it anyway, and it worked fine. All you do is long press the power button (M) on the mic, plug the receiver into your phone & you’re good to go. Note: The light should be constant green on the mics. I’ll update later if needed after a few interviews with it.

The media could not be loaded. The plug on the receiver will not fit into the USB-C port on my older Samsung phone (Galaxy J7 Crown). Of course I already wrote on the box it came in before testing it.The Seller responded by telling me to remove the case around my phone, like I was too dumb to try that. Their plug is too big for my C-Port.UPDATE:I bought a newer phone (Galaxy A25) and the plug fit that phone. I would not risk ordering this product if you have a phone more than a couple of years without being aware that it may not fit. I will update my review on the product itself once I have tested it.

The more I use them, the more situations I discover disappointment. When they work, it is a easy hookup, inexpensive solution, and good noise cancelation. But, here's the places that I've been crushed:1. Didn't work with my cheaper phones Galaxy A32 5G...and didn't make that clear (see #3)2. It did work flawlessly with my first Galaxy S10 phone...until it didn't. We tested several times without fail. Then took it to a critical shoot where it absolutely refused to connect. Turns out that the receiver was finicky about the way you plug it into the USBc. It worked 100% of the time for my left-handed tester/operator but wouldn't work for my right-handed operators. A tiny deviation in the insertion angle prevented any connection at all. Sure, this could be a fluke with the phone's connector itself...but, then there is #3.3. Blinky light is misleading. It's supposed to blink when not connected. So, I assumed that a solid light meant it was working. But, not always. You must also verify the phones temporary message "using external mic" when you start the recording. Hmm.. if you aren't paying attention during that first second of recording, then you really have no certainty that it's working (and for me on a couple occasions it was not).4. When using with my second Galaxy s10, there is sporadic loss of signal (or reduction, or scratch). On an earlier shoot, I assumed this was because we were pushing the range. Today's failures were sometimes within 20 feet.Dang, 3rd shoot ruined...and I'm past the return period.
