What an interesting and fun product! You can mold with your hands, shape with cookie cutters or anything. It doesn't stick to your hands or the shape making pieces. It's easy to pick up and doesn't 'spill' like ordinary sand. Once you turnout a shape like you do on a beach you can carefully pick the item up that you have made. It's ideal sitting at the kitchen table and we had all the adults playing with it too and making as high an edifice as possible before gravity pulled it down! Well worth buying and I highly recommend it.

My daughter has only just discovered this stuff. She loves it. It arrived a few days early which is always good. I was dissapointed as if ordered the purple one and blue arrived. She already had a blue one, but she's none the wiser. Still loved it. Easy to clean, and so much fun. My only criticism is even after cleaning it up from the floor it makes the floor slippy (we play it in the kitchen on marble effect tiles and it always gets trampled into the hall on the wooden floor). I have to mop it after. This is the same with all of these type of sand tho so I knew that buying it.Overall, I think its a great product, you receive alot of sand, the tray is deep but small so doesn't get used except for storage, don't count on the colour you ordered. I would get this again for birthday presents. Great value. Great product.

Really liked this product as did my very sensory little man (aged 3). You get a fair amount for the price and the thickness and stability of it is brilliant.I also sat with a few times when was bit stressed out and enjoyed the therapeutic feel of the feeling of the sand in my hands.I would suggest this for kids and for adults.the consistency through it too is brilliant. Best kinetic sand Iv ever used.Only bad point is it’s a nightmare to clean up from carpet.

Bought as a gift for my daughter, it was one of the items on her Santa list. Slightly disappointed as Amazon stuck postage labels directly onto the product box, the labels are not easy peel and it took me some time scraping to get the sticky label residue off.The play sand is good quality coming with a black tray and a few moulds. It was ready to p,at with straight from the bag and didn’t require any water to soften. Very pleased with the colour and quality! My daughter was really pleased and plays with it often. It holds its shape from the moulds really well and can be quite addictive to play with!

I bought this for my two year old, who loves playing with it. Although I suspect he may get bored with it quite quickly once the novelty wears off, as his attention span is not yet up to making moulds or castles with it, it did serve to keep him amused on a wet weekend, and can be safely out away to be brought out again for a fresh approach to playing with it when he is a bit older. It is also strangely addictive as a stress-buster or an aid to creative procrastination for adults, as the way the material feels and flows and settles can be mesmerising. On the negative side, the tray provided is quite small and leads to a reasonable amount of mess around it. Also with a younger child ( my son is younger than the prescribed age on the box) there is a lot of throwing around of sand which, though an attractive blue in the case of the box we bought, does not match the furnishings and is not conducive to tidiness, and may, if allowed to lie around be digested by pets and children with unfortunate though not unpleasant ( the sand is non-toxic according to th box) results. However, it is to be hoped that when our son is older and nearer the prescribed age, the throwing of sand will be a less prominent feature of his playing with it. Overall I would definitely recommend this, for a child, or if you have not got one to give it to, and especially if you have one of your own, for yourself.

I don't like this stuff. First of all the tub it comes with is far too small and if you don't have an alternative the stuff spills everywhere. Secondly it is not easy to clean up, it hardly sticks to itself and I can hardly get any to stick to my finger to save before I hoover the area. My daughter always needs to change her clothes before she leaves the area otherwise she leaves a trail of purple sand that has somehow gotten on every item of clothing.

This is genuinely excellent. Health and weather have meant not getting my 3 year old out as much but this plonked on a tuff tray table had them engrossed for weeks so far, no exaggeration! Excellent for learning about the little moulds that come with too. Easy to sieve clean and also clean up inevitable spillages.
