2 year old loves it & connects to other Linkimals!
We've got the owl Linkimal and I was always sold on the fact they can link up with eachother so was super excited to try this one. The design is super cute, and it's educational too - and my 2 year old toddler loves it.Pro:• Easily links up to other linkimals• Bright and engaging• Really clear voiceCons:• NoneMy little girl loves her owl Linkimal already so I was pretty sure she'd love this one, and I wasn't wrong! The peacock is quite simple in comparison to the owl so would probably suit a younger audience than my little girl as well as her age group, but it is very easy to use.The body is a solid plastic but the tail feathers are supported to stand upright and are soft (possibly my favourite feature) and they are the interactive part of the toy.It has five "buttons"; each has a different colour or shape on, and when pressed consecutively, it will give different responses (colour, shape and number). There is a dial on the body too which triggers a song when it is spun round to a certain point. The linkimals range is so bold and colourful, and with the lights, catchy songs and clear voices it will keep my little girl involved for quite a few minutes at a time. What's great though is that she always comes back for more, some toys get forgotten about - but these ones are a favourite of hers! The interactions between them are a really nice touch and awesome selling point. They use NFC so literally just need to be in proximity of eachother for them to start communicating. For example, when you press the button on the peacock, it will state a colour (for example) and then the owl will light up and reiterate the word. When playing emotions on the owl, the phoenix will turn the same colour as the depicted emotion. It's just really cool.I'd absolutely recommend this toy, and I think it's good value too. I'd definitely like to add more to the range and it encourages you to get more given the Linkimals connection! It's a pretty, unique toy that has educational aspects but I do like the fact it has teddy bear tail feathers. Love it, as does my toddler.

Links well with other animals
The media could not be loaded. This Linkimals peacock learning toy is great this linked up really well with no issues to one I already have like the fact that it has soft numbers and shapes that are easy for 9 month old to hold and activate sound by herself the voice is very clear spoken the songs are good and very lovely when linked to other Linkimals as they sing togeather sometimes one finishes the other ones song and they colour match their lights when interacting peacock is really good for teaching numbers shapes and colours really great educational fun toy and it comes with batteries already installed and you can add other Linkimals with it would definitely recommend great gift

Not Impressed
Very disappointed with this purchase, have purchased many Linkimals for my Granddaughter and love them but this one really did nothing bit of counting and a shape song but didn't engage me at all pretty boring and for the price can get much better toys that are fun. Returned for a refund

Linkimals Colours And Counting Peacock
Fisher Price is a trusted and very well established childrens toy brand in the UK.As a child and now 41, I still remember a few of my 'Fisher Price' toys, and nearly 4 decades later, Fisher Price still has an excellent reputation for offering fun and educational toys catering for children of pre-school age and early years.Obviously, moving with the times, Fisher Price provide for the children of today, and uses the resources that are available. So, this 'Counting And Colours Peacock' is part of a wider available group of interactive toys called 'Linkimals'.This Peacock works perfectly fine on its own, but if another or a few Linkimals are in close proximity, they will interact with one another. (There's currently 15 different Linkimals at the time of writing this review). Each Linkimal has different educational songs, sounds, and phrases. The Peacock concentrates on learning 'Counting And Colours' and has 5 different numbered coloured tail feathers. The peacocks tummy lights up to the corresponding coloured tail number.Spin the colour wheel forNumbersCountingColoursShapesAids the development of fine motor and sensory skills in babies and toddlers.Batteries are included initally, when these need replacing 3 x AA batteries are required.

Loving it
This is a great addition to the link family. Adorable and fun. My 1 year old loves it, she likes that this one has a bit of texture to it. Sings etc.Linkimals work by interacting with each other, the more you have of them the more they interact with each other.

Usual Fisher Price quality
Fisher-Price is synonymous with quality learning toys, and this is no exception. Seems very well built, and the interactive learning should keep young toddlers interested. Like others have said, the linking with other toys may be a bit of a gimmick, and the lifespan is probably limited to 6-18 month olds. Would make a lovely gift, though.

Cheaply made
My son has all of these and this is the only 1 I feel is badly made the wheel doesn't spin very well you have to spin it back and forth before it will connect to play a song or talk in my eyes cheaply made
