The Guiding Light Tarot Cards Deck, English

These are absolutely beautiful!! Just as described in the product reviews. The card stock is fabulous and the quality is stupendous. I would certainly recommend especially for those who read the cards more intuitively than per a tarot deck book. I’m not going to use the book but if I ever feel the deck and I don’t match any longer it will be present for its next owner. I say purchase this deck if you’re drawn to it as it is most definitely a beautiful deck and the art work is phenomenal.

Initially I was hesitant about purchasing such an expensive deck. Upon receiving it, the value behind it far outweighs the cost.The cardstock is thick. The outer edge is illuminating and prismatic. For smaller hands I think it would be difficult to bridge shuffle as they are a bit slick. The box that they come in is a certainly strong. One could compare it to the Fountain Deck box. But certainly stronger.The images are darker and strong. The images face the reader directly and though the details of their individual visages are obscured by shadows, (for myself), they all speak very loudly. The images are very masculine and linear, strong and stern. Yet, there is an organic fluid movement of femininity within them.This is not a deck for everyone. As soon as I opened it and began to study the cards individually every one of them resonated with me. This is by far one of my favorite decks. It's certainly provides a balance within my collection that I thoroughly enjoy the energy of. I highly recommend this deck to anybody that it speaks to from initial observation.

I have bought this brand since it first came out. Always high quality and fairly priced. Beautiful. Intend to use the deck for shadow work.

I have the Black Tarot and like it a lot. The images in the Black Tarot are more richly detailed with a real sense of dynamic movement, and the cards have a matte finish which I prefer.The Guiding Light Tarot has more simplistic and static images with many in the minor arcana being basically pips. Many of the figures are standing facing forward or to the side covered in cloaks from the neck down. In that way, the figures look essentially the same, have few individualized details and no sense of movement or energy. They are really quite boring to me. After enjoying the Black Tarot I have to admit I'm disappointed. Also, the cards are far more glossy and the graphic on the back of the cards has left a visible ghost image residue on some fronts of the next card. As another reviewer stated, the guidebook is wrong, and some wands have sword images.The cards are nice quality overall, with a lovely rainbow gilding, and really thick cardstock that many prefer though I find it too stiff and painful to riffle shuffle.

I hate the backs of these cards but the overall art is 5 stars for me. Reads really well!
