First class Blu Ray Action/Drama..!!!
Recieved this a week ago and I have already watched the first series so I feel I can review my findings now...Firstly...I was a fan of the La Femme Nikita..the one staring Peta Wilson (personally the best series and actress for this style of Action/Drama)...but after watching this, so far I'm loving it...Once I got used to the fact it's more of a carry on from the first series ...this time trying to bring down Division then I was hooked...it has a new set of twists and just as much back handed back stabbing characters...no one can be trusted..!!...My review though is to tell you more about the discs themselves....They are well presented...however..there is only a episode selection in the menu so you must remember where you left off...my Blu ray player remembers for me so I'm ok...as to the qualty of the blu ray itself...the picture is first class...full 1080p and full size ( no black bars top and bottom) and the sound is first class (5.1)..the steering is very good and when the action starts such as gunfire...you can actually feel the power of the guns, unlike some movies I have watched where they sound like a wet fart....Usually the speech can be drowned out or you have to adjust the speech to the action...not with these...they are spot on..in other words...they are very well recorded....If your looking for a well filmed well recorded with engaging characters series give this a go...and not a bad price for the full set...Cheers

Fully entertaining TV series
I have watched the entire TV series for the first time on this purchase. I found it very entertaining. Every single episode grabbed my full attention. Usually in a TV series there will be some episodes here and there where nothing much happens. Not this. Theres many twists and turns in the plot and had me surprised many times. The forth (final) season is a little short as I learned that the show was cancelled, the good thing is they managed to give this great show a ending that I think was a very pleasing one.Another thing is this TV series was created some years ago. 2010. A time when they did not have all the woke nonsense and politically correct garbage they so like to shoe horn in which evidently has ruined many other tv series, movie franchises and even videogames.

Action packed thriller worth adding to your collection
I had never seen any episodes of this TV series. I am currently 18 episodes into the first series out of 22. I've seen a couple of Nikita movies and was a little uncertain of what to expect - I wasn't disappointed. Right from the outset the characters were engaging, the action fast paced and the plot development was believable and full of twists. I like being in a position where I know I have the complete series set 1-4. The first three series comprise of 22 or 23 episodes and the fourth only 6. This would suggest that the last series is about tying up all the events from the first three series. I think this is great value at £43.25 and so far is looking like one of the rare TV series that I would consider re-watching - if I had the time ;-)If you liked the Die Hard series or the more recent Divergent I would expect you to enjoy this.Final update. I thoroughly enjoyed this series which maintained its quality throughout, apart from a slightly weaker plot line towards the end. But it picked back up and I was happy with the way the series ended.

Nikita, Alex, and Michael are my new favourite TV characters
I've just finished watching the first season and I absolutely love this show. The characters are believable and beautiful; the plot is interesting and exciting; the action is great. The blu-ray quality is amazing!Season 2 Update (20 Feb 2017) - I enjoyed the second season as much as the first season. You definitely need to have seen the first season to properly follow the story-line; this season has some great twists and turns. And believe it or not there is even some very good emotional drama woven into this second season.Season 3 Update (21 May 2017) - The third season takes a slight dip in excitement and I started to predict some of the "twists" but all-in-all it's still enjoyable and worthwhile viewing.Season 4 Update (10 July 2017) - Only six episodes but the bonus is that they weren't predictable. The only anomaly was Michael and Nikita's relationship. But overall a satisfying conclusion that still left me wanting more.Nikita is one of the best action, conspiracy dramas I've watched.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of actors and actresses are ex-models like the star of the show
A young and sexy cast. I wouldn't be surprised if most of actors and actresses are ex-models like the star of the show.To Maggie Q's credit she did learn her craft from Jackie Chans stage school. A mix of traditional Chinese opera and stunt choreography. The plot threads are your pulled from various spy and assassin thrillers, such as the original La Femme Nikita, James Bond, Leon and Jason Bourne. It takes a little suspension of belief to believe it takes so little training to become a specialist in hand to hand combat and weapons, as well as the mental hardness to become an assassin and successfully live life undercover, but then who wants to watch several seasons of people putting in the ten thousand hours it takes to master a skill. In short it's a drama set in a make believe world of espionage and shadowy cabals.

Lots of action
At this point I am only half way through the box set but I am enjoying the series. The blue ray quality is excellent. This was a birthday gift & was a gamble from my wife as I hadn't seen any of this before. She's a bit of a female Bourne which I also have so not a big gamble.
