good for storing my cd’s, durable enough to keep in the car with you.in the photo it looked white but its actually moretranslucent!!didn’t come with cloth!!overall its decent and does what it should so not many complaints really other than the facts its a wee but flimsy but thats expected as it was cheap

really liked how compact it was and the hard outer casing unfortunately 2 of the cd sleeves openings was at the bottom so when opened the cd could fall out.

No room on shelf for the DVD’s , these are great will be getting more soon.

Excellent case just the job, The zip seems strong the sleeves are pretty strong but will still rip with too much force.

There seems to be a point with any deprecated media technology that it goes past the point of being ‘obsolete’ and into the realm of ‘rare’- and suddenly the prices of accessories, particularly the less in-demand ones, stops plummeting and starts rocketing. Have you tried to buy a VHS player recently? It feels like this process has begun to happen for CD’s as well. A few years ago, you could hardly give away items like this. But now, thanks perhaps to those of us who’ve stuck with the CD format like dinosaurs while everybody else has moved on, suddenly they’ve become a premium item again. Thus, you can spend real money on fairly plush items like this- money which, frankly, is a bit disproportionate to what you actually get.As a disc holder, this is OK but nothing special. The inner sleeves are thin, and a little bit scratchy to the touch on the outside, but softer on the inside (where the play side of the disc will go). On the one I got, the T-shaped pieces that get cut out to make the opening for each sleeve have generally been marked but not cut, meaning you have to pull them out for yourself. This is an initial faff, but once it’s done it’s done. Each of the twenty sleeves has enough give to satisfactorily slide a disc into both sides, and you can indeed fit 40 discs into this without it stretching or getting taut.The outer ‘hard cover’ isn’t actually all that hard. I’ve got ‘hard cover’ cases for items such as the external hard drives I use, or our Nintendo Switch, and compared to those genuinely hard covers, this cover is decidedly flexible- not outright soft, but certainly not rugged. Given that the CD’s are internally sleeved as well, I think the cover is probably hard enough for general everyday use, but if you’re looking for a case that would protect CD’s from a ten-storey building roof drop, this definitely isn’t it.The plus side of the soft cover is that it’s see-through (or at least it is on the white one that I got), so you can see the disc artwork on the discs that you put at either side of the set. It’s frosted, so it’s not all that clear, but it’s a nice touch anyway- and in the unlikely event that you’ve got more than one of these cases, it makes it easy to tell which case is which.For the current asking price, I think this is a fairly underwhelming item. There are some plush touches, like a rather posh-looking zip, but that’s detracted from by the branding and the fact the inner sleeves need manually ripping open. A bit underwhelming in terms of quality, but still reasonable enough for an everyday use such as keeping a selection of driving CD’s safely in your car.

Q4 Hard Storage holder for 40 discs. In white.This smart little case is exactly what I needed. I still play CD’s in my car and have spent the morning re-organising my CD collection and putting my all time favourites in my new case and have popped it in my glove compartment in the car. The sleeves are strong and transparent so I can see the CD’s through the sleeve and the case itself is remarkably durable and I have it in white.Attractive and a very useful storage solution for my CD’s, this little case if also perfect for DVD’s. Using one of these instead of keeping the discs in their cases frees up so much more storage room for other things.For the money this is a great piece of kit and I am going to get another one for my DVD’s. I wish I thought of this years ago.
