The Mysterious Affair at Styles (Dramatised)

This 2005 radio dramatisation brings to life all of the characters from Agatha Christie's finest mystery in my opinion. An excellent cast are assembled and allowed to unfold the story at just the right pace. John Moffatt brings his Poirot to life right before our ears likewise Simon Williams makes for a most engaging Captain Hastings. It is good too to have Philip Jackson playing Detective Inspector Japp in this serial. Originally 5 episodes this has been made into a 2cd affair that works so well and at no time does the story lose pace it naturally progresses. Directed by Enyd Williams from Michael Bakewell's dramatisation of the novel this is a must have for collectors of the BBC radio serials and plays of Agatha Christie. Good value, nicely illustrated and packaged.

Agatha Christie always a good bet this is the first story with Poirot and Hastings excellent I love A C stories I listen to them on long journeys and in my kitchen when I'm having a cooking day even my other half enjoys them

Great value for money. Arrived quickly and no damage to CD. Another cracking audio drama with good set values which carry throughout the production. Always a pleasure to listen to John Moffat’s interpretation and the actors compliment each other so well.
