amateur who has no clue says these seem good!
Ok I'll be honest from the outset - I'm useless at DIY. But I'll give anything a go at least once, especially after having watched a few video guides online. This type of metal bladed mixed size set seemed to be used across the board, and even as a total amateur who has no clue I've got to admit that they made a neater job out of patching and filling some areas of plasterboard than we've ever managed before when we've just used a credit card and a tub of premixed filler. I think the additional flexibility of the blade goes a long way to helping smooth it out meaning a lot less sanding is needed. Don't get me wrong, the gear alone is never going to make you a pro but I'm happy that it's made my little bits of patching-up a lot less noticeable and easier to live with, as something I see every day. Always more to learn for a perfect finish though! They arrived wrapped in a cut-off piece of cardboard and what seemed to be a black bin liner or black cling wrap which seemed a little bonkers, but there was no damage and the blades were in good condition so I think I'll say it was a good job recycling old packaging materials!

Spatulatastic
Great set of filling knives / spatulas for an amazing low price! I also bought the longer matching 18" version to go with this set. Great for applying and smoothing out filler and using the longer spatula I was able to spread and smooth out filler to some wide areas of cracking on a ceiling and get a very good finish which needed only minimal sanding (saved a fortune on using a plasterer). Also the spatulas are very useful for wallpapering both to smooth out paste (more effective than a brush) and as a cutting mask / guide when pressed into corners (much quicker and more accurate than marking and then peeling back and cutting with scissors). Wish I had bought some years ago!

For the money these are a good buy. Good size range, flexible enough and sturdy build.
