Compatible with other monitor light brands; no drilling necessary
I got a monitor light, but not the BenQ brand. It also has a small platform that would fit this webcam adaptor. While I thought the price was a bit steep for what you get, you're paying for what it does. I did read the other review that used a drill-press to drill a hole in his. I found that if you're willing to not have the adaptor be flush with the edge, it works just fine without drilling. The magnet is strong to the metal plate.A bit of a plus that it did arrive about 5-6 days sooner than Amazon's estimated time of delivery.

terrific addition to the BenQ lamp if you need it. Probably useful other places as well.
I use my iPhone for Zoom calls, with a CapStone magnetic holder that has a sort of clamp to hold it to the top of a laptop or monitor. It didn't hold on to my monitor well and when I added the BenQ lamp it didn't want to hold onto the lamp at all. This little thing is magnetic and creates a nice vertical block that the phone holder clamps onto very nicely. I'm glad I have it.

Can be universal.
I don’t have the light bar they say this is made for. I have a quantis bar. As long as your bar has a flat surface that is about1 square inch you can place the metal plate and attach the mount to it. Mount works great and get the camera up and over the light bar. Also saw in 1 review where someone cut a hole in this to pass the light bar power cord through. PLEASE DON’T DO THAT! Get a $6 90degree adapter like I have in the photo and you won’t need to cut a hole in your brand new product. Works great!

Has one really GLARING design flaw
The device is a simple solution for those of us who like keeping our web cams perched atop our monitors, however they didn't account for the cable coming out of the back of the light bar. This was easily fixed by drilling a 1" hole in the piece, as you can see in the photo.Fortunately, it didn't take much time and effort to do this, but when you pay $20 for a piece of plastic made by the manufacturer for its own product, you'd think this would have been considered. It also renders the product unusable for someone who doesn't have a drill press handy.

The lighting
Even though the price is somewhere high, the operational facilities it provides, does not have any competition with cheaper priced light bars. Very pleased with the results.

Great
Easy installation and go a heat job holding the camera, fit with almost all the cámaras, good stability and the price is very decent.

Better camera mounting options available
I got this accessory to mount a Logitech Brio 4k webcam on top of my BenQ light bar. It is a simple plastic accessory that sits on top of the light bar for the camera to latch onto. Unfortunately, the weight of the camera wound up making the light bar unstable as mounted to my 49" Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED curved monitor, which already required use of an adaptor. In addition, the lightbar was visible in the bottom field of view of the camera when properly angled. So, I wound up not using it and elected to mount the camera off to the side of the monitor. I really like the lightbar and highly recommend, but would suggest if you use it, try mounting your webcam in a different location using different hardware.

Great addition, BUT heightens eye line
Not much to say, it’s made for the BENQ halo light bar and magnetically sits on top perfectly to create a little ledge for you to hang your webcam on it. Just a slight warning that with the addition of the halo + webcam holder…. It’s very much a noticeable difference for my eyeline to the camera and shows up on screen. If that’s important to you, just prepare to either lower your monitor (if you’re able to)
