The instructions were useless and not for the Lunar Lander. Only the outside cover was for the Lander, the inners were for some building or other.Thankfully they have a You Tube site where you can see how to install the lights.Other than that - fantastic.

A well made light set, good quality wire and connectors, LEDs are nice and bright. Instructions are easy to follow and well photographed. Everything is bagged separately in the box. I have purchased light sets of other sells and Lightailing are by far a better quality.

I'm not a novice to lighting kits, but this was my first one by Lightailing - and it's going to be my last.Unlike other kits that I have used, this one had all the components pre-wired together. This made the process of installing it about 20 times harder than it needed to be - had the components been separate, it could have been installed during the build process instead of having to dismantle large sections of the kit. In addition, because of the black wires, many of the steps to install made it incredibly difficult to see where they intended the wires to go. And lastly, for me, the biggest downside was actually the reason that I got the kit in the first place. The three blue LEDs that light up beneath the doorway stick out several millimetres from the back of the block, resulting in the side of the capsule no longer fitting properly, falling apart if you put even slight pressure onto it, and generally making the whole structure the most unstable of any lighting kit that I've used - and that's saying something. There is any number of ways this can be resolved if you happen to have a lot of spare Lego pieces, but this is something the company themselves should have sorted. I'm entirely okay with bricks not clipping completely flat with wires hidden beneath them, but this is ridiculous. With all of these factors, I definitely won't be purchasing another one of their kits. I almost purchased the kit from my normal manufacturer and honestly, now I'm regretting that I didn't do so.

The lighting highlights the intricate nature of the Creator NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander.It looks fantastic when displayed and especially in dim lighting.It is well worth purchasing this product if you want your Lego creation to look especially effective.

Bought the light set to upgrade an existing built Lego Lunar Lander. The internal lights were reasonably easy to install (except for the lights under the door which required trimming with a knife). Gave up trying to install the four lights on the thrusters as spent more time trying to keep the model together than installing the lights. In the end I cut off the four thruster lights and just went with the internal lights. The model with the internal lights on in the dark looks impressive.

Installed this today with my son. We checked the bulbs several times along the way to make sure they were all working fine, but within 5 minutes of finishing it one light stopped working.Since writing this review I have contacted the seller who straight away sent out a replacement - very good service, greatly appreciated. I have changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars as they have been so helpful.

Not opened as a gift to go with the Lego Apollo craft. Lit up I think it will make the craft look great. Might let hubby put it on display in my cabinet!
