These tags are deceptively made. Most inventory tags have reinforced rings around their punched holes to ensure that the string/wire doesn't easily rip the tag. These tags do not have reinforced rings, but they are printed to make it look like they do (see photo). We've had several tags rip from the wire so far, so they're useless for our purposes. Another frustration is that the wires and tags come separated in the package, so you have to manually guide a piece of wire through a tag each time you want to use one, which is time consuming.

We use in our hunt club to attach to jawbones of harvested deer to record data for biological ageing. Hold up well.

Great product

Tags itself it's not bad, not sure if it mentioned in the description (at least have not seen if it is) tags has high gloss finish. If using permanent marker - need to let it dry or it will smear.Also, wire came separate in the box and all tags loose. So now every time I need a tag, I need to remember to grab a wire also, not the end of the world, but somewhat inconvenience.

Very poor quality... the hole that you put the wire through isn't actually reinforced to withstand ripping the tag. It is just a picture with a hole punched through it.

I should have read that the wires are not attached, that is a bummer. The cards are slick, and you can't write on them with a pen.

Picture shows tags prewired... They are not causing more time to prewire them
