Had this about a year and still working. I have it in a gun cabinet and with this and silica gel lowers it 10-15% from the rooms humidity. I'm sure in a actual safe would work much better, cabinets aren't sealed very well even though I tried.

Wood type
Placed on the bottom back inside the type cabinet, this rod keeps my wood type from getting moldy. I have one under a paper cabinet/flat file, it has been there for over 30 years keeping the paper fresh.

It’s working as advertised. The plug is pretty cheap and was difficult to attach compared to goldenrods.
