Marianna's Greek Organic Vineleaves, 200 g Drained Weight (60 leaves approx.)

The best vineleaves I have ever ever tasted. I used them to wrap sardines, as my grandma suggested and they were so tender with great texture, aroma and taste. Better than fresh. The only problem is that it took me some while to actually understand that the weight is DRAINED product and I was reluctant at first; I thought they were expensive compared to other similar products. But then I saw that the 200gram are the drained weight, they are organic and the only one real greek vineleaves I found, so they are really value for money for the quality you get. I am definitely buying again.There were approximately 60 pieces in the jar, medium sized.Next time, I will stuff them and I am also curious to try the vine tops( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mariannas-Organic-Vinetops-Great-Taste/dp/B00PGPMH96/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1484498597&sr=8-1&keywords=vinetops+marianna) , which are a bit expensive, but if they are of the same quality, I think they will be great addition to my sandwiches.

Product was good how ever the leaves some of them were broken and some were only half leaf so couldn't use

I’ve been looking for vine leaves for a while, not being able to find them in store, I used google, which brought me here.The leaves are soft, easy to use and the picture of the stuffed vine leaf on its own is my first ever attempt at doing one.They are of decent size, easy to roll and made around 60 portions. I didn’t realise, but I followed a recipe for fresh leaves, so there was actually no need to blanch them at the end. They would have been fine without boiling.I’m about to order another jar to keep in the fridge for when these run out, I’m so pleased I’ve found leaves that are tasty and easy to use.This product comes recommended. 🙂

These vine leaves are tiny and counted 17 torn and unusable.

I have used many vines leaves in the past, both here and abroad...these are by far the best I have ever used. They are tender, need no pre soaking, are a nice uniform size and have a lovely taste. They are a little expensive, but for a particular recipe if you need them, they are an excellent product and I would definitely recommend them. I have bought them 4 times now.

Jar arrived well packed in bubble wraps, but it was leaking which meant it was not airtight. The vine leaves are too soggy and can not be used. However, I have been buying Marianna’s vine leaves for many years and this is the first time I received a bad product in 4 years (not bad)!

I actually agree with all the other reviewers here that these are superior to other preserved grape leaves (at least the ones I have tried so far). What makes these different is that they are not chewy or stringy. In the jar I received, all the leaves were pretty much the same size and I was able to use every leaf. These are the next best thing to growing and picking your own.The only negative thing is the price. I usually get grape leaves in a jar that is twice the size for less than half the price as these. With this jar, I was able to make a small pot of dolmas. I will buy these again in the future but not as often as I would like to.

It’s so hard to take leaves out without braking .tastes nice . Good be larger leaves
