For all those withholding from buying because youre scared of struggle to open- I got it in the first try; Tip down, one hit, them press the button while the top is still faced down. 😄 I hope it’s as easy for you as it was me!! As for the quality of this product-- it comes out as a gel and is not drying.. Overall, yes.UPDATE : I have been using this product for about a month, and within a day or so I can tell my breakouts have gone down in size/redness. I'm quite surprised how it penetrates breakouts while keeping them moisturized- i love the gel feeling, and the design(being pen-like) is a plus. Yeah, I like it. :)

I was so excited to get this product as I was experiencing some nasty pimples that were really surfacing and looking gross. I already use Hero's daily exfoliator, toner, PM retinol, blackhead pore cleanser, and dots (as I call them) but the patches are really only good for draining a pimple easier once it's already surfaced. While it's still growing to it's maximum nasty it's a painful and humiliating experience that you kind of just have to sit back and watch, so I was super hyped when I saw this being promoted to me.I ordered it on the spot, waited about a week for it to arrive and ran to the mailbox to use it.I will say, the reviews indicating that it's hard to get going aren't unfounded. I sat there in the bathroom tapping and pumping, tapping and pumping, for like 10 minutes before I eventually got a flow going. The packaging and way it works looks nice and is cool in concept but it's way more of a hassle than it's worth.On top of that, I would love if it was more of a tube or pump (like the daily exfoliator) because while I have been using it to target the big heads and nastiness I've also been using it on stubborn whiteheads and cluster outbreaks to more success than I previously had not using it.I noticed not even 1 day after I started using it that things were calming down much faster than they typically would. It's not an overnight miracle but it for sure is expediting the process now that I've added it to my daily care.The tl;dr is that it works, especially when incorporated into an overall routine. But the packaging fights you and creates a less optimal experience. Ditch the pen and just let me spread it on my face or dab the nasty lads directly with my own hands, please.

As stated by other users….have been pressing the button with the tip on a hard surface for a while and NOTHING comes out. For $20 you would think it would have a better delivery mechanism or arrive primed ready for use. This was a huge waste of $20 and I am so disappointed as I do love all of this company’s other products. Would send it back if i could.

i used to be a “picker” of any blemish and this has def allowed me to keep my hands off my freaking face!It really does kill the blemish and nature it go away, without drying you out and leaving a dark mark. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I love the mess-free concept of the pen applicator, but unfortunately, even after trying it out on multiple pimples, I’m not sure it really works for me… I haven’t seen the same great overnight results I get from using pimple patches or some of my other dermatologist prescribed acne creams…

I love this stuff!! I’m so happy I found this product. I use it every morning and night.
