Silver Viscount 8000E Computerised Sewing Machine

This is my first sewing machine, although I have used a Juki for some lessons. I love this machine, very cheap compared to the Juki I had been using and every bit as good. I have used this to make a couple of items of clothing already and repaired many more. The instructions are simple to follow and I find it very easy to use, I've changed the needle with no problems which I was worried about having to do. Fantastic value for money and I am very impressed with the quality of the machine and ease of use.

I had it for few years. What an awful experience it was! It kept breaking all the time! It needed some kind of repair every year. My mother in law would not want to use it for fear it may stop working In Her hands! Waist of money.

Had to write this review. I brought this machine in August never having had a digital machine before. The best thing ever. It is so easy to use and the instructions fab to follow. The reason i am writting this review now (October) is my machine jammed and no matter what i could not get it to work. Silver were fab and fixed it over the phone. They were polite and very afficiant. Recomend this machine to any one :)

Although I have had a small/simple sewing machine before I would still class myself as a bit of a novice. I wanted a machine which would allow me to progress without having to buy a new one too soon. This machine is an absolute dream to use. Its so smooth! don't dread pulling out my machine anymore (which I did with my last machine).Money well spent. I did my research on Silver Viscount as I hadn't heard of them, However they seem to have a very good reputation, especially for their customer service. As yet I have not had any reason to contact the manufacturer but I would be confident if I did have to (even just for spare/extra parts).

I love this machine! Prior to this I'd purchased a Singer (I forget which model but it was awful and was swiftly sent back) so I decided to risk going for a brand I'd not heard of. I do not regret this at all and I'm VERY happy and amazed with the quality of this item.There are loads of different patterns, settings, additional components. It's so easy to use too.

Bought for my wife as a replacement for her old machine. She is very pleased with it and uses it all the time. It has a lot of functions, but seems pretty straightforward to use. Build quality appears excellent

Arrived on time, really good machine, takes a bit of getting used to when you have just had a simple on previous, really love it
