I've only had my hair colored professionally once (and not with great results). I'm lucky that color-wise I have an easy one to match, but it's the applicator included that makes me recommend this product over competitors that do not have the same comb-like tip. As well, L'Oreal includes shampoo (eliminating the question of whether you should or shouldn't shampoo after application, where others don't even mention it in their instructions). Truly a big step above other applicators, the product also sticks around, only hair growth contributes to the need to do it again, usually longer than the 6 weeks promised. I've tried many but this is the one I have on auto-ship!

This product covers my greys and is easy to clean up in my sink.

L'Oreal now gives shampoo in the box instead of that useless "gloss" that I never used and can't give away.
