Great wee anchor, perfect for my 3m dingy

The compact size of this anchor belies its sturdy functionality. It's lightweight and takes minimal storage space in my kayak. This is a great little anchor, supplied with floating polypropylene rope and a small float. It also comes with a little carabiner clip that you can immediately bin if you intend to use this in salt water.It's a folding grapnel type, and has enough grip to hold a small kayak in fairly still conditions. I don't think this is for use in any swell or wind, but for holding your boat still for fishing or snorkeliing it's ideal. It comes in a bag too, so you can carry it without worrying about scratching up your boat. There's a hole at the bottom of the grapnel too if you want to get fancy with how you rig this. Nice item, well made, feels like it will last a long time, and does the job.

Looks like a good piece of kit but sadly paint finish is already through to bare metal where flukes rubbed on shank in transit. Corrosion to follow, out with the hammerite!
