Organic Dried Apple Rings, 8 Ounces - Non-GMO, Kosher, Raw, Vegan, Unsulfured, Sirtfood, Bulk

We knew that we were into something good when we opened the package; they smell great! The apple pieces are chewy but not tough. They are excellent right out of the package. Since we received them, I've been adding a few pieces to our steel-cut oats at breakfast. For two servings, I use 1/3 cup steel cut oats, 2 tbsp. dried cherries, 2 tbsp. dried cranberries, 6 dried apricots, 4 prunes, a handful of raisins and 2 tsps. of Burlington molasses brown sugar. Mighty good.....my wife says she likes steel cut oats with her fruit! LOL Two comments: The package states that the apples are a "Product of Argentina, Packaged in the USA". Why Argentina? Why not USA? Also, the package states thart the ingredients are: "Organic Apples", however there is a statement directly underneath that says "WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm." What in the world could the State of California find to be carciogenic about organic apples??? Anyone know?

They are delicious, very good flavor. I have been pleased with the quality of all the dried fruits I have purchased from "Food To Live". I have one issue, however, why are their apples coming from Argentina? I live in a small village in the Hudson Valley surrounded by apple orchards. I'm sure there are hundreds of towns just like it across the USA. I can understand sourcing the more CV tropical fruits from other countries, but apples??? I would have given 5 stars for taste & quality but I removed 2 stars for their choice of source.

Fresher than another brand I ordered, high quality, delicious, dried just right. Dried apples are a regular part of my menu and these are as good as any I've had. I am ordering more.Update: I just read another review from about the same time as mine and am really puzzled. It is like we are talking about totally different dried apples. I buy a lot of dried apples from different sources and these are, as I said before, as good as any. I just ordered / received more and they look good too and have a good expire date a long ways off. Now, there was a part of a stem still attached in the last bunch, but I noticed that and took it out. Maybe the other person got a stem too and that is why they were not happy. It just was not a big deal to me.

These Apples are wonderful! I keep most of the apples frozen. However, to have the dried apples ready for my recipes, I strive to keep some of the apples (along with other dried fruits) soaking in a small amount of water, in the refrigerator, at all times. I use the apples chopped up with other dried fruits, in trail mixes, in cold(granola-type) or hot cereals, and as a snack or evening snack (in the place of empty calorie) to satisfy my sweet tooth.If the price remains the same, I will definitely buy them again!

Absolutely the worst I have ever seen. Flesh the thickness of peel, purchased for exotic birds who would not go near it and my dogs would not eat it. Thrown away since I doubt the wild birds would be interested. Disgusting producrt

These are like beef jerky. Very difficult to chew or cut up into smaller pieces and they have no discernible pineapple flavor. Not sure how i'll really use them now. I was planning on making my own breakfast bars with them. I guess I could add some real pineapple juice for flavor.

These dried Apple rings are delicious! I have tried other brands and they either did not have a good flavor or too tough to eat. These are great. I will be a customer going forward.

I ordered these apples to use in a stuffed pork roast along with dried cranberries. The apples were just as I expected -- soft and tasty. I'm going to order some more so I can make the roast for the holidays

Received promptly. Good value for money and a good size bag of excellent quality dried apple rings. I like to use these when I make a Somerset pork or chicken casserole and add these apples to the casserole about 30 minutes before the end of cooking & they just make the dish super delicious and the family loves it. They also good with cooked sausages and onions in gravy and same again add 30 minutes before end of cooking. I would most definitely buy these again. They also good for snacking yummy. I would highly recommend

Warning, this is a huge bag! I love them. They are nice and chewy. They taste great. The zipper closure on my bag is tough to close but that is a minor thing. I'm sharing the bag now with my sister and niece.

Sooo many seeds and each piece had a bit of the core on it. I ordered a different brand and they were so much better. The taste of these ones are good though.

They are soft. Not dried chips.
