I wear them for walking my dog. They're very comfortable, not too bulky and they seem waterproof so far. I've spent more in the past and been disappointed, especially with the comfort as they can feel quite stiff from new but I'm really pleased with these and I can highly recommend. There's no ankle suport so I personally wouldn't want to use them for proper hiking but for what I need they're great.

I didn't keep these shoes as they didn't fit well. I ordered a size bigger than I take in a normal shoe because I wanted to wear walking socks. I already had a pair in the same size and same make but these were much smaller mostly because the tongue was so thick it used up a lot of internal space. Not for me sadly. Even worse I had to pay for the return delivery.

Returned as unsuitable

Not bad for the price I suppose but they didn't last very long. I suppose it depends how often and where you use them. I just walk a dog but in the country though wouldn't say that use was excessive. So, so.

I have real trouble at times with trainers catching my ankles probably because, at 5 foot nothing, my ankles are just too near the ground. These low rise hiking trainers avoid this and are giving me a comfortable walk with the reassurance that my feet will not get wet from the front. Wearing them with jeggings today (not something I expect to do often) I found I could feel the heavy rain striking my heels but it was not a major issue and I would expect my walking trousers to solve the problem for me.

The size came up a little large but other than that these have been a fantastic buy. They were brought as yard trainers, so far they have been waterproof (short wet grass) and really sturdy. Great value for money.
