Dr. Seuss’s Sleep Book

It only takes 10 minutes to read the book front to cover so don't be daunted, it grows on you very quickly no matter how old you are.

Read to my little man when he was in hospital and is now his fave! It gives ‘yawn’ cues which we act out and makes him yawn now too 🥹 it’s quite long and the illustrations are large and colourful too

Love this story

A lovely little book for kids. Dr. Suess's language is good for older kids to help them with their advanced phonics. The larger print means they can read along and the illustrations are super iconic.My boy loves this book before bedtime, it's a great way to get him to sleep.

This book was a favourite of mine from childhood, I loved Dr Suess and this was my favourite book. I've now bought it for my young neice so that she can enjoy it too (she does). The illustrations and stories are really good and capture the imagination of young children everywhere.

More tongue-twisting fun and light-hearted silliness from Dr. Seuss. A great book, though it is on the long side for a 5yo, so if choosing this one at bedtime, there usually won't be another story before bed. We're both happy with this, however, because it's entertaining for me, too!

Plenty of pages and confusing words, one to read to the young children and watch them fight their eyes open. They enjoy the pictures and I enjoyed reading the story. Worth it to help settle them down

I discovered this book last year and can honestly say it's the best nighttime book we have ever read. We read it every single night. I don't even need the book to hand anymore, I know it off by heart.I know some reviews say it's too long but I think it's a decent length. Most books are too short for my toddlers to bother with. This is good middle ground in that it's not finished in 2 minutes but also not one that drags on endlessly.

I have given this book to every friend who has a toddler and it is nothing more that a complete success. It’s like PsyOps against kids who refuse to sleep or at least chill out. The yawns are infectious and the book is a classic. When I read this to my kids when they were younger, the submission was impressive. The creatures and their bed prep routines are entertaining, the rhymes are perfectly timed and lulling. Zzzzzznngngnzzzznnng.

One of the Doctor’s best.

I love Dr Seuss, and this book is the perfect intro to his work for my baby. It has been a part of her good night ritual ever since we bought it and she loves it. When she wasn't so mobile, we used to read it as far as her fussiness would let us. Eventually we realised we only got as fas as the first few pages every night...That happened around the same time that she started becoming more interested in touching everything, including tearing things apart. After the first tear we started to simply recite the first few pages because by then we had learnt them by heart.Last night when I started the first few lines, she looked me in the eyes and smiled knowingly. It melted my heart.I love this book and the moments it keeps giving our family.
