The Air 9 frame applies custom drawn Easton GX2 Scandium. A composition of scandium and 7005-series aluminum is truly an advanced proprietary alloy with higher strength properties while also increasing compliance. Achieving the impossible, Eastons blend of tubing with custom drawn and shaped rear s-bend chain stays and seat stays makes this baby a light, agile ripper of a frame that offers comfort in the long haul.
