5 inch IPS Small Hdmi Monitor VESA Metal Shell 800x480 Mini LCD Screen Portable Display Monitor

Will run at 1080p just fine. Nice metal case with mounting screw holes and it includes HDMI and USB cables.I am using it in my PC case (Lian Li A3 m-ATX) to cover up a boring psu mount. It runs off of 5V so you can utilize an internal USB header for power.

I literally just got this monitor (delivered an hour ago) and plugged it in to do some tests. So far it's working well. I'm using it with a Padcaster Parrot teleprompter—it does not do video flipping (very few 5" monitors do), so I'll have to do that in software. But otherwise it's perfect for my use case.A few things to note:- The metal case is really strong!- The screen looks good. It's not that bright—totally fine for indoors in my office/studio, but would likely be difficult to use outdoors.- It comes with both a USB-a to micro-usb cable for power and an HDMI to mini-HDMI for video. It's really nice that they included these.- There are NO controls at all. Not even a power button. Since it charges from the micro-usb, you may want to add a micro-usb cable that has a power switch (commonly used for raspberry pi applications) to your order.- The product description reads 800x480, but Mac OS shows a default of 1920x1080 which is downsampled. The full list of recommended options in Mac OS is 1920x1080, 1600x900, 1280x720, and 960x540 (HiDPI). To get the native 800x480 resolution, you'll need to toggle the option to see all resolutions.

I have a Blu Ray disk player that is how I listen to CD's. It is intended to plug into a TV to display track listings, etc. But I don't have a TV hookup. Instead, I got this little screen and mounted it on a phone stand on top of the Blu Ray player, so now I get all the info I need. Great, bright, clear image

No obvious complaints. Picture quality looks decent. Viewing angles seem good. Plugging it in and getting it working is easy. Makes for a nice little status-display screen to stick below my primary monitor.It's also adorable.Edit: High *diagonal* angles make the picture washed out, at around 45 degrees vertically and horizontally simultaneously. But a high angle on any of the cardinal directions on their own is fine.Edit 2:One minor issue (which I've dropped it to 4 stars for), is that it will sometimes just go totally black when the monitor layout changes, and you need to power it off and back on to get it working again. Not a huge deal, since I've got it plugged into a USB hub with easy power buttons for each port, but it's a little annoying at times. On the whole it's still quite solid though.

The media could not be loaded. The monitor keeps blinking and goes black and white! I tried new cables set for usb and hdmi but unfortunately it’s didn’t work!

Use as a secondary monitor for AIDA64. 800x480, and works great. Display is sharp and perfect for displaying the temp/speed/stats for a computer off to the side. Comes with the needed HDMI and USB (for power) cables. Everything is included.

Picture quality is pretty good! Could just be a tad brighter for outdoor use but the resolution is satisfying. Feels sturdy in the case and very simple and straight forward to operate

I bought this screen to add to a computer as a small TV monitor. It does the job and acts as "plug-n-play" HDMI. It works very well. It's a simple design and image reproduction is adequate. It does what I need it to do.
