Yes so as you make your application when the decking is very dry, that way the teak oil penetrates and protects proofs any absorbent areas

I have found that the wood I’ve treated with teak oil has darkened naturally over time, but in quite a nice way

teak oil is a natural oil and is effectively putting life back into the wood. Provided the wood hasn't been varnished (which most internal wooden items are) then it should soak in nicely. Best thing is to try out an area that can't be seen (somewhere underneath) and see what it looks like.

Sorry cannot answer your question as it was bought for outside garden furniture. It did a good job though.
