Pretty good for the price
Edit: Downgrading to a 3-star rating as I started using it for BOTW and noticed that the joysticks have a really big deadzone. Wasn't a big problem in the other games I was playing, but makes aiming in BOTW very difficult, especially with bows with zoom. Also both sticks now creak after a few more weeks of use. Because of these problems I would recommend an official controller over this one if you're playing games that actually need some aiming precision.All in all a good controller but still not as good as the official controller in my opinion, I can forgive it though as it is half the price of a official Nintendo controller when they were still being made.I think the biggest problem is the how much resistance is added to all the face buttons and sticks, both joysticks are a lot stiffer than the original and much less smooth. My one has now got a creaky left stick from a weeks use.The d-pad and the face buttons are also a lot stiffer to press and make it less fun to play on than the original.The plastic moulding on the body and also on the rubber joystick ends is pretty poor.Battery life is good though, and the buttons are at least all uniformly stiff. Controller is about as light as the original and pairs just as an original controller.To be honest, this controller is good enough for me, and really good for the price. In the end I would recommend, but I don't know how well the longevity of the product will be, as I have only owned it for a week.

Look and feel very similar to a genuine Wii U controller but suffer from poor build quality
Good price and to be fair they look/feel very similar to genuine Nintendo Wii U controllers.Battery life was good but weren't quite as responsive as an original Nintendo controller (still usable, just not quite so snappy).I purchased two of these but unfortunately one of the controllers developed a fault within a month (left analogue stick failed) and no replacement could be offered by the seller, as a result in Amazon asked me to return both controllers and offered a full refund.

I wanted a controller to connect to myMac to play retro gaming (OPENEMU)But it wasn’t recognised by Mac at allEven Bluetooth doesn’t see device?It might work with Wii which is its original purpose?So not much use I’m afraid?

I'd recommend getting this controller if you only have the Wii U gamepad. Great controller and lightweight.

RUSTY BROKEN CABLE PROVIDED
The product does now charge, mostly due to the fact they have been sent with a wire that is rusty, and has a rip in the wiring half way throughLooks like they packaged up a broken wire with this, quite dangerous!
