Decent Camera, Amazing Price, Works on your Macbook
I purchased this camera as I work in a remote friendly environment. Having to disconnect my laptop each time from my more desktop oriented setup was a pain just to have a video conference call. So far, this device has worked perfectly. The image quality greatly varies by program, however, overall the video quality has been more than usable. The microphone on the device does a fantastic job and I no longer have to utilize my desktop microphone. There are a few things that I do not like about the device, however, I feel that this is greatly offset by the price of the camera. First things first, the camera itself is decent, it is not a great camera by any stretch of the imagination. Secondly, there is no ability to control the zoom factor (at least not in Mac OS). These two items are actually the only things that I dislike about the device.Pros:* Price* Easy setup (plug and play)* Works on Macbooks (including 2016+ models)* Microphone is of great qualityCons:* Camera, while decent, could produce a better image* Unable to change the zooming factor of the camera

User friendly compact webcam
I needed a webcam for a series of virtual classes that I'm taking, and didn't want one that was overly expensive or too technical. This webcam was perfect. It does connect with a USB cord, but was totally plug and play on my Windows OS system. The picture is sharp and clear, and the camera itself is versatile. I keep mine attached to my screen, but it can be mounted on a desk as well. I'm very pleased with this purchase - it serves its purpose.

Decent webcam
This camera is used on a daily basis for video calls. A few things of note:- It has a very wide angle (much wider than the one on my laptop), so be aware of your background.- The image it produces is sharp and very "contrasty".- It performs best if the subject is well lit. I manually increased the brightness of the camera via the OS to compensate.- The mic works fine - people on the other side didn't have any trouble hearing me.- It does not have a privacy shutter.- It has a little blue LED to indicate when the camera has power. I initially assumed it would light up when the camera is in use (which would be nice), but the LED stays lit when my laptop is on.

I actually like this but it has its downs
Ive had it for almost a year I would say. Maybe it has been a year. The quality is good, I can see clearly to 6 feet away. (that's to my other wall its facing). I rarely use the mic but when I have to, it picks up everything, which isn't bad but it can be. Its VERY sensitive. It looks really nice, feels nice, and the back that hangs on to the PC has a good hang on it. It can hang on pretty well, I can move it anywhere and it seems to stick. When its on theres a blue light. I would never touch the lens as it could ruin it. When I use the speakers, its loud, but usually adjustable with the PC adjustable volumes. I haven't noticed (nor as anyone else) its focusing going in and out randomly, I think the focus is pretty good for this webcam. As for the issues, rarely it likes to spazz out, a bunch of colored lines come across the camera, and it usually goes up and down and you cant see me anymore. Its with red, green I think, and black as the main. And sometimes when I plug it back in, it doesn't render that its there on my PC. (I use discord for it mostly) Discord doesn't detect it when I have to plug it back in after it freaks out. Which I have to plug it back in a second time and maybe a third time. I think its decent for the price.

Solid web cam for a reasonable price.
I've been using this web cam only for a few days now but I've been very happy with it. I work from home and my entire team is remotely distributed so we hold a love of video conference calls for all reasons you would otherwise need to meet with your team. I've been very happy with the webcam, especially the build-in microphone. It's been a pleasant surprise at how good this thing is for the price. Definitely recommend.

Better than $100 webcams. Use Streamlabs OBS free software to set your camera settings
EXCELLENT CAMERA and only $27. Fantastic 1080p video. Use the Streamlabs OBS software to set up your values and the results are incredible. You can not get better quality for anything under $100 dollars or even more expensive ones. Default settings might look pretty bad but after you use Streamlabs, you will see an incredible difference.Watch the following video on YouTube for further settings explanation: "This $27 Aukey Webcam is INSANE" I am not the guy in the video or know him but his video is really informative.

Was skeptical but this is a great webcam
Many reviews claim this Aukey FHD webcam has poor video quality, bands migrating across the screen and a greenish tint. I found that this webcam has excellent quality when used in good light. The green tint disappears when you remember to remove the blue tinted plastic covering the lens (it does not come off when you remove the plastic covering the face of the device). There IS a horizontal moving refresh band visible across the screen in weak light, but again, in good light, the picture is crisp. I had to toggle HD (1080p) ON in my Zoom software as the camera was in 720p mode to begin with. For $30, this is an excellent webcam. I would guess 99% of people should be really pleased with it. I will update this review if I find any problems or hiccups during business Zoom calls.

I found the customer service helpful in the long run
My camera worked fine for several uses until it froze. I couldn't figure out why as the camera is just a plugin device.I wrote to Aukey and they suggested changing the pixel rate (something like that), but I didn't know what that meant.Ultimately, I figured out that I had my Zoom preferences wrong for the camera. I had the HD on and another item in Zoom for the camera preferences wrong as well. I turned them both off and the camera worked again. My only suggestion to Aukey is to learn about Zoom so they can more precisely advise customers with this issue.

Great brand. Good picture quality. Mediocre contrast/colour.
Given this COVID situation, I am in more online meetings than ever. As a result, I was looking for a new camera that could display a higher resolution than my MacBook Pro built-in camera, which Apple has unfortunately not changed in many years. I have seen many of these cameras popping up online on Amazon and was quite skeptical of which one to order. I previously ordered two cameras which I had to return because of issues with freezing, poor microphone quality, and poorly built products. Shopping for the third time for a camera was quite annoying, and I was honestly ready to give up. However, I ordered two more cameras to see which I liked best. I ordered one with a ring light as I liked the concept and hands down would buy that one again given its 1080p picture quality, great contrast, an adjustable brightness ring light! However, I was not a fan of how it was circular and thus bigger as opposed to the rectangular, more sleek options.I trust Aukey because I bought a couple of Dash cameras from them in the past for my cars and have been extremely happy, so I wanted to give this a try. Here is my analysis. PROS: (1) Great price; (2) Rectangular & sleek; (3) Good quality dual microphones which actually have great output on the receiver's end of a Zoom call; (4) Reputable brand; (5) Clear picture, 1080p for sure. CONS: (1) Extremely gray pictures as if the product just does not detect yellow light, and this really makes me, a very happy person, look quite dull and uninteresting. Given that first impressions are extremely important, this is really something shoppers must consider.Overall, I still kept the camera as I like the grey-scale image for some other purposes including gaming where I would prefer to appear a certain way when playing online and therefore I gave it a good rating. However, for meetings, this camera definitely could be better, as you likely won't make that cheery, warm impression on a colleague if you look grey.

Great value!
If your laptop / desktop computer has a crappy camera or it lacks a camera altogether, this little guy will do the job. It will improve the experience of participating in conference calls, webinars, online classes, etc. The picture quality during online team meetings is fantastic. No lag, sharp image, and clear even in low light conditions. It supports full HD 1080p at 30fps, which is more than enough for most people out there. The setup was easy and smooth, with no hassles. Took about 5 mins out of the box to set up, connect to a USB port, adjust the position, distance, and zooming level. Most people should not have problems setting up this camera.Overall, great value for your money. I am completely happy with this purchase. In this day and age, where virtual presentation is paramount, you want to avoid looking like a blurry mess. :)

plug and play with no delay
Since lockdown realized that the picture on my old MS webcam was looking a bit tired (720p is soooo 2010). The reviews on the Aukey were a bit mixed but once the price crashed I went with my wallet. The picture quality is great - albeit quite a wide angle for home use. The microphone sound quality is good close up (say 6ft) but tails off at distance (10ft plus).Overall, I am very happy. The set-up was simple - plug and play with no delay.I suspect if you are a YouTube Vlogger it probably isn't for you but for staying in touch with my family and the odd work call, the Aukey Webcam is a perfect choice.

Really satisfied. Notice for Teams users.
Really satisfied. Fast shipping in the Montreal area (shipped the same day and received the next day). You can orient the camera 360 degree left to right and around 45 degrees up and down. The quality is excellent for the price. I like that the clamp can serve as a tripod to put on the desk. There is a good length of wire to position anywhere. Notice for Teams users, when you configure in devices the preview is slow (5 FPS). But on calls, apparently everything is fine. It is the Teams preview that supports poorly webcams.
