Smiffys Monkey Costume, Adult, Brown, L - Size 42"-44"

For the price of the product it did not meet standards and was scratchy on the skin and you could see through it if you had no clothes on underneath

I was sceptical about the suit before it arrived, having read some of the reviews I was expecting it to be tat to be honest....I was, however, very surprised that the quality is fine....Yes, its a mesh weave with fibres woven in but it does the job just fine - actually keeps you a bit cooler than the thicker suits. I have been using it during Children in Need Day at my school and I've been doing manual labour jobs in it and its held up just fine....I'm 6ft, 18 stone and the suit fits fine, sleeves a little short but not an issue at all.....for the money, I'd say its just fine and if you are careful, it should survive several outings.....as long as the kids don't pull on your tail....LOL

Overall it's a decent costume.There is a white lining in the hood which tends to stick out when worn. The material is also quite thin. This actually helps it keep cooler than other costume and I haven't found it affects the durability of the costume.So without paying the extraordinary price for the full monkey conversion surgery, this is a great alternative.

I bought this for my son.It's animal week at the soft play centre where he works.It is amazing quality it's just a little bigger than we expected. The pockets in the suit hang at his knees and the crotch is half way down his thigh.I bought the medium suit and my son is 5 foot 8 inches.All in all though its a lovely quality monkey suit.

The Costume looked good and fitted well. I wore it for a world book day as part of the rumble in the jungle characters which it served it purpose well for. BUT, the product is not very well made as half way through the day the stitching of the lining in the hood began to undo and unraval. this was the first time of wearing the costume and i thought this very poor as it had cost about £20 and for it to start breaking on the first wear was not good.

It definitely serves it's purposes of being a monkey onesie. It's comfortable and the fact that you can wear shoes with it means that it doesn't get dirty. I'd definitely go for this one, if in doubt! :)

great for a laugh but don't expect anything amazing! I bought this for a friends birthday outing. compared to my other friends onesies it was better quality and more practical without closed feet however after only one wear the seam from knee to knee split at the crotch. thank goodness I was wearing joggers beneath it otherwise the jewels would have had to endure a rather strong breeze! I'd give it 3/5.

Great costume, arrived quickly and looks just as it does in the picture. However the tail is not stuffed just loose fabric, the material is very itchy when wearing and the hood is heavier than expected. Apart from that the costume is great to use/wear to fancy dress parties xD
