These lights show how far solar powered lights have come. Everybody in my neighborhood use some type of yard solar lights for decoration. I turned my patio and deck into a nice bar and I placed these lights in the backyard. I have other lights positioned around my patio. At the end of the night I turn them off and when the sun comes up I put them back out. You don't have to do that but I'd rather not waste power. I use them every night with no problems. Tip: Search for Outdoor Yard Drink Holder Stakes on Amazon. They remind me of the same drink holders my parents used but these are heavy duty. I bought a set of 6 in different colors. It turns out the solar light globes fit perfectly on top of these stakes. I placed them around the yard and at night you really can't see the stake part of the holder. The result is the lights appear to float over the yard in mid-air. Kind of a multi-purpose use thing.

Love the lights but one stopped working after 5 weeks. They are beautiful lit up.

Very cool and cute not as large picture

These little solar light globes are adorable and colorful! I bought 3 2-packs for a smaller area directly by my door. They are very pretty to look at!The glass is very solid and they go into the ground easily with the provided stakes and have stayed put in some pretty significant winds.Size-wise I would compare them to approximately the size of a softball... perhaps slightly larger, but if so, it's close.I do think they were pretty pricey so that's why I put 4 stars instead of 5.

I love these! I ordered two boxes and the spikes that hold the balls in the ground were broken in one box. I commented on here and the seller contacted me within a day and they sent me replacements at no charge. These are so cute and maintenance free!
