Good hat! My OH roared with laughter when he saw me wearing this, and immediately wanted it for himself, but it was miles too small for his big head. It's worth measuring round your head first - if you measure more than 22" (56cm) where you'd expect to be pulling this hat to fit, it probably won't as it's only made to medium size and there's not much give. Should be fine for most kids and women, but if you're generally unlucky with the paper crown in your Christmas cracker fitting your head, then this unlikely to be any better. Bah Humbug.There's a string of little LED lights glued to the inside of the hat, all round inside the white fluffy brim, and up through the hat, 20 in all. The battery pack sits inside the turnup on the brim, out of sight - two AAA batteries were already included, a little switch on the pack turns the lights on/off. The lights twinkle, fade, flash fast and slow, varying, the user doesn't have any control, the lights do their own thing.The lights flash in different colours, but the colours only show on the white turnup part, as the red plush top disguises any variance in the colours.Any pulling around of the lights is likely to result in them coming adrift and the loops connecting the lights aren't tacked to the fabric, so might get caught in your hair. A timely stitch will keep the lights and loops a bit more secure.Lost the fifth star because, for the money, they could - and should - have been made with a bit more care and attention to detail, but they're a bit of fun and just right for a bit of Christmas 'Bling.'The batteries last an age - should be good for a couple of Christmases, at least.

I ordered this fun and festive hat to spice up the first day of the festive holidays at work.It came straight to my workplace yesterday morning and it looks so amazing.I tried it on the moment i got home and tested the batteries to see if the hat lit up; which it did.The hat is pretty soft to the touch (especially the bauble)The only problem i have with it is that its a little bit snug around the head (because i have dreadlocks), but for a child or anyone with a small sized head, this is perfect.Had the hat been made a bit bigger, i would of rated this 5 stars, but because its a bit tight, i've had to rate it 4 stars.

Great fun for my two boys, fit as expected for 5 & 7 year old.Only downside was one child managed to pull the bobble off his hat.

I would have gIven this item 5 star but it was extremely tight, I normally take a medium. OK for the money apart from the tightness

A good product which works straight out of the box (batteries already installed). My only slight criticism is that it is a bit small for adults, but still useable.

One hat is different than the otherOne has colour light and are really bright the other one is rubbish has white lights and done light up very bright Can imagine the arguments with my two boys who wanted the better hat. 😩

The hats were beautiful. But after only one wear, the bauble fell off and there’s no way it can be sewn back on. The lights worked brilliantly and the hat looked brilliant. Shame about the bauble.

Arrived quickly and is good quality but is in no way for an adult. My 10 year old it fits fine but an adult no. Comes with batteries and is very effective just too small
