Well made, light and fast. Most common device compatable.
I bought this for my 10 year old grandson who uses it all the time. His school use tablets a lot and my grandson being autistic finds this ideal at home as its compatible with the schools software. They concentrate on coding at school which is the way to go for kids nowadays as hands on practical application of most areas of learning are easily covered using modern tech. Yes he plays games but being as he fits the stereotypical child with his particular autism most are, logic and maths oriented. He finds using a pen bit difficult but keyboards no problems. He is also a voracious reader abd this gives him access to a wealth of reading matter. Well worth every penny though due to its motherboard integrated storage is considersbly cheaper than other forms. He may not be able to upgrade storage but external hard drives are relatively cheap and the speed difference is hardly an issue. The case itself is very rugged. Above all he loves it! Which is the biggest plus for me.

Very pleased with purchase
Arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. I thought it was easy to set up and has a large screen. Very pleased with laptop and value for money. The start key is on the top right that takes a little bit of getting used to but doesn’t take away from performance now I’m used to it no problem.

A heavy solid Chromebook.
This is my third Chromebook. The previous two were Acers which worked well but I managed to break them both after about three years use, so I thought I'd try an Asus this time round. My first impression was that the Asus is quite weighty, but appears to be solid and well made and I like the fact that the screen can be flipped to tablet mode, and the touch screen works well. As I wont be carrying it around much the weight isn't really ann issue for me and hopefully it will prove to be a bit more durable. The only down side so far is that the screen isn't very bright unless cranked up to max. Otherwise the Asus functions just like any other Chromebook and at the price I paid I think it represents good value.

Amazing!!
This is the second one of these that I have bought after the first had water spilt on it. It’s a great laptop, love that it can be used like a tablet if wanted. It performs well, is easy to use and a great size. Only downside which isn’t really an issue but something my daughter commented on is that you can’t open it with one hand as it’s quite stiff, you need to hold each side and open, but as I said not really an issue and doesn’t affect the performance of the laptop. The battery life is good, and it’s slightly on the heavier side but overall it’sa great little laptop.

Happy with my new Chromebook
I like most things about chromebooks, this is a replacement as my previous dell has a problem with the charging connection probably because it had been dropped a couple of times so my fault. As long as you go carefully through the set up screens it seems easy to me to set up this in the same google chrome/youtube/photos/bookmarks/email accounts etc and other tools I use. I was laughing really at the negative reviews for this as this isn't touch screen ( i don't want touchscreen yuk). The sound and screen as well as the finish and start up time and probably speed are all better than my previous chromebook as this is slightly higher spec anyway. The thing starts up seemingly instantaneously and it feels quality. If you are new to chromebooks and a bit nervous get someone to help you set it up as you will really need an @gmail.com email address. If you are an avid bookmarker ... like websites, youtube channels or specific individuals this is great, I also watch alot of youtube, amazon prime and bbc channels and like that i can take a pic with my phone and it will appear accessible from this. I don't really need bluetooth and i'm not a security freak so don't like the way it wants to make everything ultra secure. As long as it is 'off' when i close the lid or times out if i don't use it i'm happy. I highly recommend in that I am convinced that you can easily pay 3 times more than this, maybe 5x and end up with something less nice, slower and more difficult to use and ... wants to control your life! The more i think about this the happier i am, i'll hopefully fix my old dell as well though this is much much better and only £180 ish. Treat yourself.

Exceeded my expectations
I love this chromebook so much and I think it was completely worth the price. The laptop is relatively light, it is touch screen and the battery lasts for long periods of time. If you are looking for a laptop for school or for work, I highly recommend that you get this laptop and also for your own personal use.

Big Screen is has blue tinge/hue
Large screen and all benefits of chroomebook (great value, Google everything) BUT screen has blue tinge with o saturation at all, and it can't be rid of because there is no graphics card so all you can adjust is screen brightness :(I do have another chromebook and the screen on that on one has warm colours... see photo..This chromebook on the right hand sideAnnoying as I'll be stuck with this for the lifetime of the chromebook but hey ho
