When working, they are great. When.
Upon opening the box and finding the tiniest instruction manual ever, I thought oh dear.I'm not sure if any of the following applies to Android phones, certainly does to Apple (14 Pro,IOS 16.1.2).I could not get these to connect. At all.You need to be able to access your router (easy to do - from a computer) and try to disable 5GHZ band, or IPhones will default to 5GHZ - meaning you can see the plugs, but as the phone and sockets (and Alexa) are on different GHZ - it's a no go.Mine is the newest Sky router. Sure, you can click at the top on 5ghz wifi, and uncheck the 3 boxes (it will warn you not to if you have SkyQ) and then click apply. This does NOT turn it off. Now, I am unsure as to wether me ragging the power cable out from the router, or throwing the router at the wall made the router restart (hard restart) but when it did 5ghz was definitely switched off. THEN my IPhone allowed me to choose the 2.4ghz wifi.It can be helpful to rename the SSID for one of the frequencies - say SKYHSKA-5G instead of default SKYHKSA. You can name them whatever but you will need to reconnect devices afterwards. If you have disabled 5ghz anyway, it should only pick up the 2.4ghz from your router so renaming is not essential. So, a soft restart (router) does not change things, even when you have unchecked/applied new settings. Soft restart is available on Sky router settings. Don't use it. I think you can press the pin sized hole for 30 secs to also hard reset, not sure. Killing it's power for 30 secs certainly does. You can then connect effortlessly to the sockets/new devices and then turn back on 5ghz when done - it's no problem turning 5ghz back on.Remember to know your routers wifi password, I changed mine from default anyhow (the one on back of the router or on the little card you get from Sky). You can see the wifi password also on a PC/Laptop on the routers settings. 192.168.0.1 - Login Admin - Router Network - type in address bar the numbers to access the routers controls. That's for Sky and many others, some I think substitute the 0 to a 1.Now, adding to Alexa is simple, and they are instant - my older ones took a few seconds for Alexa to turn lamps etc on, these are super fast.Hope this helps, simply put - nightmare to connect IPhone to 2.4ghz network - which most smart devices use - and you cannot use different ghz obviously.Well built product also. Oh, finally, the manual does not even show the model (110) - just choose 'mini' on the app.

Superb
It is so easy to set these plugs up. You need to disable your router 5gb signal because they need 2.4gb bandwave to register. They connect to the router without any problems and when registered you can link them to Alexa. Name them and you are flying. I have named on of them "blanket" and I have set Amazon up to turn it on at 20:30 every day. You do need an Alexa in range. I have an additional one in my bedroom. When I get in bed I just tell Alexa to turn it off. Easy peasy. I highly recommend these plugs.Don't forget to turn you 5gb back on when they are set up.

Review amendment on a great product
I had previously reviewed this purchase as not working. As it turns out I was wrong. I had been connected to my home WiFi and not the Meross WiFi. This was what was causing the set up issue for me. In fairness to Meross they did email me regarding my issue. I am someone who really appreciates good customer service as this really is becoming a thing of the past, (Amazon themselves are atrocious, undelivered packages, complaints ignored, emails unanswered). I stand corrected with regards to my review on Meross smart plugs. This is a very good and easy to use product. I will continue to buy their products (outside of Amazon)Please keep up your superior customer service as this is what will keep me as a customer.I no longer buy from Amazon. This was a purchase made some time ago but I had not tried to use it until recently.

Good value for 4.
Took a while setting up the first one, but sailed through the rest.Main difficulty was having the first one plugged into an adapter lead. Just couldn't link it to the house wifi. However, I remembered having this problem with a wify range extender, which would only work when plugged direct to a socket. Tried it that way and hey presto, worked straightaway! My only complaint is that they can only link with one mobile phone. Set them all up on my phone, then tried my wife's phone. Had to set them all up from scratch again, but then couldn't link again with mine. You decide if this matters to you, but we're not always in at the same time. However, you can still press the button on the side to use them manually.

Easy to install
I have bought this for all my lights and stereo inside the house. It is very easy to install. Just install the app MEROSS and follow the instructions. You can change the name of thw plug as it connects with alexa. Love it! I use it with alexa a lot and also can use it via the app. Automatic or setting it can also be done via app. It is cheaper than other plugs and I would buy more of this.

Worked first time, easy to use app
Plugs installed easily, with no problems at all. App is straightforward to use, although maybe a bit heavyweight at 60mb. Only gripe is having to create an account with Meross to operate them, handing over a lot of personal info in the process. Seems a bit uneccessary.Slight design flaw is the button on the Left hand side of the unit, means that if you put it in a double socket or extension lead you need to think about where it goes otherwise you can't turn it on/off

Easily set up.
Nice and compact plug. Perfect solution for our Xmas lights that were placed outside with the plug in a IP54 box, powered from an external socket. No Wi-Fi issues an they work perfect within our Echo universe.

Quick and easy to set up
I've tried a few different smart lights, plugs etc. This was the easiest one I've used to set up. It integrated with Alexa easily. Has standard but good options for configuration. I did have one problem. I had a TP-Link power adaptor for a wireless extension on the same cable length (two sockets near each other) as one of these plugs and they did interfere with each other. Once I moved one of them, it was fine.
