What a drag
I like it! It's a simple piece of gear; doesn't weigh much; is compact and it does the job very well. I just finished another hunting trip to Kodiak Island and got my limit of Sitka Blacktail. Bears EVERYWHERE... but that's a different story.I bought two of these straps and put them through some hardcore deer dragging. The length was just right for me - neither too short or too long. The handle is a rigid, foam covered plastic affair which makes dragging comfortable (no blisters). This is orders of magnitude better than a piece of line with a knot or a loop in it, as far as that goes; this is much easier on your hand. The blaze orange is a very nice feature in that, if you have a protracted drag ahead of you, you can hang it over a convenient limb or bit of brush and walk ahead to scout for the best route forward whenever it becomes prudent. On return from your little reconnaissance the bright orange strap makes finding your deer much easier. This is a simple trick that most people, until they've had to scour an area they are "SURE" they left their deer at - (only to find it 100 yards away after an increasingly desperate search while already exhausted and running out of daylight in major bear country) would surely underestimate the value of. I used to just use a length of 5/8 nylon anchor line because "what's the difference?" I've lived and learned - that's the difference. This takes less space and weighs less for the same length and it doesn't hold a bunch of water when it gets wet.Don't be afraid to get one of these things; it's worth the price. One caveat: Don't run the thing around the deer's neck as shown in the picture! Instead, run it around the deer's head just behind the antlers and forward of the ears. This helps to prevent the head from hanging antlers and nose down where they snag on everything and it gives much better control. Liberals suck (just thought I'd throw that in there because it's true too).Good luck - Good hunting!

Not robust
I have used this on one deer and the handle is already tearing. I don't expect that it will hold up for another deer. Not very expensive but not worth that much either.
