I purchased this watch as a gift for my Husband, from the watch warehouse through Amazon. The service was excellent, and the watch was better than i ever imagined. The photograph of this pocket watch does not do it justice. Set in a lovely case, it has a large clear dial. On the back you can see the mechanism,It keeps excellent time and looks the buisness. My husband loved the watch and will treasure it. Excellent purchase and a beautiful gift. Definetly reccomended.

I couldn't stop looking at it. Bought as a present for my son's 30th. It has the softest tick not loud at all. Beautifully made with fine attention to detail. All the mechanics smooth and elegant. Beading to the outer case adds interest and is a nice touch when it could have been left plain. Affordable in gold plate and simply exquisite. Highly recommended and great value for money.

Worn across the waist of your waistcoat, this watch looks beautiful. Intricate mechanisms exposed and a classic style, this watch is truly a fantastic modern remake of watches made 100+ years ago. I bought one in gold and was sent the silver by mistake. This meant I could compare the two and the gold one is by far the better option. It's a watch you have to wind up, which should mean it'll last forever and it comes with a lifetime of servicing from Rotary. I would recommend this watch to any gent or chap. It's a great addition to the chap's three-piece.

Avoid at all cost. 2 weeks after purchase the chain tarnished. Rotary replaced the chain after returning back to them. Another 3 weeks in and the watch has tarnished and so has the new chain.

Outstanding quality mechanical pocket watch for the money. Good weight, feels solid in your hand and looks the part when wearing a waistcoat. A pleasure to have a mechanical watch, hand wound harks back to a bygone age, so much more tactile and pleasing to the touch. Would highly recommend.

Stops even when I wind it.Was ok for 2 months then became very unpredictable.

I though this gold plated mechanical skeleton pocket watch was a beautiful sight to behold and indeed it was .On several counts : it's gold plated body with crisp hinges with sharp opening and closing snap to its double half hunter case ,it's mineral glass crystal, its fascinating skeleton interior showing springs, cogs, wheels within wheels and gears in motion. It had an impressively weighty authentic feel , white annular face with roman numeral and the included lengthy gold plated chain all a testament to old style excellence .Or so I thought , I soon discovered it was gaining sixteen minutes every day . In the ordinary scheme of things this would have been a simple matter to remedy with a minor adjustment to the interior regulator by the manufacturer's local representative in Australia. The rotary website provided an email for service enquiries and the contact details of the local service agent : sadly every one of the several emails I sent to Rotary Watches Australia bounced , the Australian Service agent stated when contacted that they no longer provided a guarantee service for rotary watches. The UK head office offered no concrete options professing to be unaware of the situation with the Australian service agent and misconstruing the point about the bounced emails." All that glisters is not gold , Often have you heard that told . Many a man his life hath sold But my outside to behold .Gilded tombs do worms enfold.Have you been as wise as bold ."A lengthy but so very apt quote from the Merchant of Venice.The only saving grace in this near tragedy was the sellers acceptance of a return and full refund .So for me its back to searching for a suitable pocket watch .
