Q: How do you set the days in which you want the daily alarm?

In normal display mode, press B twice to enter alarm mode, the alarm time flashes, press D to adjust the correct time for your alarm. Press C, the alarm minute flashes. Press D to adjust the correct minutes for your alarm clock. Press B to exit.

Q: Hourly chime doesn’t shut off even after the icon disappears and pressing the two right buttons (C&D). No alarm icon is showing in the left corner.

(C&D) buttons on right are not control hourly chime, it's for alarm clock. If you want to turn shut off hourly chime, maybe try to press (C&B) buttons. When there are Su,Mo,Tu,,,Sa on screen, hourly chime is turn on. When those Su,Mo,,,Sa disappear, hourly chime is shut off.
