I’m very impressed
They are growing well and producing peppers which are all still green, I am very excited about them turning red and yellow. I will definitely grow them again next year. It’s now 19 July 2020.

Varied results, not much taste but maybe due to the weather
This was the first year of planting peppers so I wasn't sure what to expect. Perhaps a difficult year with a month of very hot weather, a month of it being really cold and then a month of heavy rain. The seedlings came up well and I kept just 6 of the strongest ones and let them grow to about 6 inches.I kept 2 plants for myself, and gave 2 each to a couple of friends.I planted my 2 into a single big pot outside, whilst both my friends put them in their greenhouses.I read that they would need support and could get quite tall so, being rather short of space, I stood the pot next to my metal terraced archway so they could grab on something. To help them in the strong wind, I also pushed a small cane arch into the pot for something to tie them on to until they grew tall enough to reach the terracing. My 2 plants grew well and could have almost supported themselves but I did tie them on to be safe. In the end they only grew to about 2 feet tall but they have produced lots of flowers, and still are at the end of September, though i doubt if the weather is going to stay warm enough for long - its very chilly at night now.All the flowers have produced buds and peppers. I have cut the big ones off and eaten them but the flesh is incredibly thin, not much more than the skin but they are healthy inside with no sign of any problems. Not a lot of flavour but this could all be due to this summer's rubbish weather on the south coast. My friends, on the other hand, growing in their greenhouses, had pretty disastrous results. One pair lost all their leaves very quickly and the other pair were OK for a while and produced flowers but nothing came of them and they died.
