This was a bargain price and ideal for the man cave when coming home on the motorbike at night. It was easy to install and has a nice long cable. I turned it on got the two bright flashes indicating the selected mode and then nothing. It would not turn on despite my best efforts. I double checked the instructions and it said turn on at the back which I did multiplie times, had the flash and nothing.Now this comes with a remote control so I thought I would try that and after pressing the on button and the mode button a few times it burst into life! I now have a nice bright light with a decent sensor so I’m now happy with the light.So in summary it’s a great light for a great price, just don’t take the instructions at face value as you will need the remote to turn it on.

I bought this unit for use in our driveway.It worked well during the summer months and was very bright. However, during a wet late summer and autumn it eventually began to fill with water and has since stopped working.

Ordered 2 of these and since November, both have filled with water and gone rusty. There is no way of contacting the seller in order to request a refund/exchange outside of the 30 day Amazon return window. Sub-standard, do not waste your money.

Well so far these lights (2 pack) are a great buy - fantastic light output for a reasonable price.We have no back garden only a small yard that is covered by an awning. We have never needed a light source out there before and relied only on the kitchen light that shone through the window for illumination. However, since we started having milk deliveries again (deciding to offer our business to local supplier instead of big supermarkets) we were getting the delivery anytime from 10pm until 5am - so opted to get some form of light.The first time you get these they have protective film on both the light and the solar panel (so remember to remove these before fitting). You get a fitting bracket and all the screws and plugs you will need to fit both the unit and the panel. Once you have found the best location for you light you just fit the bracket and then slide the light unit into the groove - sorted. You can also adjust the angle up or downward for best illumination spread and also the motion sensing position. For the solar panel just repeat this procedure and adjust for best position and angle for maximum sunlight.You also have a remote control to switch the light on/off as required. Why would you need this? Well, if you position the light near to where you have any hanging baskets of flowers or even washing lines, etc. (as we do) then although the motion sensing PIR should only pick up warm spots of movement it does detect movement of washing or flowers when it is windy. This, in my opinion, is not an issue (yes it can be a pain if the light keeps going off 10+ times an hour as it can drain the battery - and in winter it might not have sufficient sunlight charging power) as via the remote you just switch off. Just remember to switch back on again in the morning.Now as I bought these April time it is better light during the day so great for charging the battery via the solar panel - however I can't vouch for the wintertime and short days and less sunlight - not to mention the fact the sun will be lower in the sky too. But will update later on in the year. I have the solar panels located just underneath the awning panels and not out in the elements and they still pick up light enough to charge so things are looking hopeful.But in the here and now the light output is amazing - the best I have found so far. The light is of a daylight bright white colour and casts illumination to a great level for you to see clearly.Just to inform all if you are considering buying these lights, the instruction document you get is basic but tells you what you need to know, however some things are not informed:1. If light comes on and stays on - check you have connected the solar panel into the cable fully (as it uses the sensors on the panel for the dusk light to switch on) otherwise the light will just stay on and not go off.2. If switching off via the remote - when you switch on again the light will flash 2x to indicate on mode.3. Do not place the solar panel in a location where other light sources are as this might affect the dusk light setting and not switch on as required.

These lights are nice and bright and work very good. This review asked about motion detection and these do not have that option.

I bought 2 sets (12 lights) and liked them so much I bought 4 more sets. They have transformed my backyard into a beautiful wonderland of lights. I mounted some of them on the outside edge of my (aboveground) pool ledge and I cannot overstate how beautiful they look. I cannot imagine how you could spend $150 in any other way and get this level of beautification in your yard. They shine on the pool ladder, making it look so inviting to go in. The honeycomb feature of the lenses throw reflective light everywhere including the ground. Could not be happier!!

They were really easy to install. One arrived broken but it was too much of a hassle to return it so we just used five. Looks great on our fence.

I love the way it looks on the front of my house since we don't have any wiring to install actual motion detection lights/floodlights. The quality is good and it comes on consistently. The product description did not say it was motion detection so I didn't expect it. The only thing is if you order them for floodlights, they will not be bright enough. I have three areas next to the garage doors that are perfect for them and all three of them together were bright enough for the purpose I want them for. Overall good product. Highly recommended.

These lights are beautiful on the color change setting or leave on the clear light setting and it’s pretty bright for a small light. I had one that wouldn’t work and contacted the company and they sent a replacement right away. I highly recommend these lights
