Slug Rings Copper Pack

These slug rings are an absolute godsend for me. They look nice, perform well, are portable and will last forever.I bought a couple of sets to start with, and now use them extensively to protect potted plants, either by standing the pot inside the ring or by encircling the plant itself, and for protecting new growth in garden beds.There are a few things to consider when using slug rings:MOST IMPORTANTLY, check the bottoms of flower pots and under leaves for slugs before placing the ring to make sure you're not unwittingly trapping a slug INSIDE it!Slugs WILL find a way - make sure that there are no natural bridges, such as overhanging plants, or plants that physically touch the area that you're trying to protect.Make sure that the ring is well secured and in full contact with whatever surface you're placing it on - slugs come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny ones that can squeeze under things to huge ones that can reach over.

These are very smart and robust. Previously I have used the copper rings that you have to bend into a circle yourself and hook together. And cut my hands in the process. These are well made, smooth, no danger of cutting yourself, quite thick copper and do the job beautifully. Defeating my slugs. A good quality product

The slug rings arrived within forty-eight hours. The quality is very good. The only down-side is that the small rings only have a very limited use for me being only suitable for small or newly planted plants. The large rings went into use straight away and have done their job well - just make sure there are no leaves trailing on the ground or in contact with other plants nearby which may act as a bridge. I will buy extra large rings next year.

These look beautiful and actually stop slugs and snails from getting to my plants, without killing anything or using chemicals that are bad for the environment. These are good quality copper, so should last the rest of my life. Worth every penny and better for the planet.

These were purchased after two disastrous summers with slugs and snails eating everything in sight. Only three stars as they worked to a degree but as soon as the plants grew and touched others not in rings the problem returned. Therefore the rings are not at fault but the idea is only a partial success.

Really solid rings - easy to join to make a larger ring, too. No slugs in sight - ha!

They are easy to use but unfortunately my slugs and snails seem to get round them and they love my hosta’s. Expensive for an item that does not come up to expectations. They are not on there own though I’ve tried everything and nothing works so far.

The Hosta is gowing into the copper ring- very nicely. No sign of slugs ( yet) one can never tell with slugs .No rain lately so perhaps the threat of the dahlias also and Delphiniums being attacked by slugs caused me to circle them where I couldIts a trial and that is all one can truthfully say for a few months. Try them!
