Got this (10mm extender bar) to allow me to have the mic on the hot shoe of GH5 while using it on the RS3 gimbal and not have the mic restrict the tilt range of the gimbal. Works a treat, well made, sturdy but light, highly recommend.

This is made of aluminium black coated. The only plastic used is for the knurled locking rings. I use it for a microphone mount, to further isolate the mic from the camera, to minimise handling noise, and it works well.

It's a simple but very well made item that I have ordered as a way of mounting multiple items to my cameras hotshoe. It's very easy to slide items in and out. This has made me aware that once I attach a screen I might want to add some kind of stopper just in case the screw holding the screen loosens.Good, inexpensive and well built piece of kit.

I bought this to use a cold shoe mounted microphone on my Panasonic GH5. The problem I had before buying this was the video microphone extended too far back for me to use the viewfinder when switching to shooting photos. This solved the problem instantly by moving the microphone forward enough to use the viewfinder comfortably without any of it showing in the photos/videos.Not cheap for a 4 inch piece of metal, but this is a quality product, and as the photos show, it does the job I needed it for.

A simple, effective piece of kit. Mounted onto the Panasonic S5 shoe which pushed the Rode mic just that little bit closer to the subject. Always worth having something like this in your camera bag.

Excellent bit of kit!My above camera mic used to get in shot when using wide angle lenses.This total eliminates that and is also easy to switch from front to rear mic recording.
