An immediate essential.
The media could not be loaded. I brought this light because it was so hard to see anything in my tank. Setting it up was super easy. The functionality is really good. 1 switch to power on and off. The size is decent but for some may be a little big. It seems to get quite warm after being on for long so I have a fan that blows cool air into my tank. The material seems very durable and long lasting in my opinion.I can’t say enough good things about it. The one I brought fits my 30x30x30 cube perfectly. Anything smaller and I’d recommend the micro canopy.Final thoughts.Money well spent. I almost brought 2

Fits perfectly on the Exo terra mini tall, received with 3 pin English plug which was a surprise as the reviews stated 2 pin plug and I contacted Amazon who said it came with 2 pin plug. Thanks my daughters stick insects will be happy in this

Keep in mind
This product (Exo Terra PT2225 Mini Compact Top Canopy, 30 cm) only fits one bulb, so if you need UVB and full spectrum light then you will need supplemental lighting such as a compact dome light.Works great, Mirrors in the apparatus reflect the light to all areas of the tank which are unshaded.

Happy with it. Fitted nicely on my 30x30x45 exotera mini tall. read a few reviews saying they slip off or something... rubbish!As for the power cord, I was expecting a foreign 2 pin plug and about a foot of cable (from other reviews) but to to my surprise it was a UK plug with a good meter or so of lead.NICE!

over sized over priced
Exo terra have dropped the UVB from their compact bulbs. They "rebranded" the 2.0 bulb into dayglow bulbs that don't give out UVB.You can get much cheaper and reliable UVB from Arcadia. Refunded.

Really great purchase, looks perfect with the 30x30cm tank - A quick warning though! I was eager to use it and without reading the instructions and put a 75watt basking bulb in it... Luckily I realised before my tank top melted too much - Don't be an idiot like I was, the top wattage bulb for the canopy is 25watt, which I now use
