Usual good quality from Optima BUT spout dribbles
All parts are well made from good quality plastics, as is usual from Optima. I have had several water filters from Optima over decades and all have been great quality, this one included.However, my only gripe is that this spout design tends to dribble down the front of the jug if the pour rate is not optimal. That optimal rate is very difficult to gauge even after several months of use. Therefore, expect water dribbles all over. An annoying trait for an otherwise nice product.

It works
It was a little confusing to put together.I thought when it filtered the water through so fast there was no way it worked but I tested it with a water tester and it works. Water looks clear and tastes nicer- it filters instantly. I recommend this.

Good value for money
Exceedingly cheap! Even after two months, the original water filter is still working well, plus the cartridges are cheap too, great product.

Does the job well
Easy to use, minimal faffing about, easy to change the filters. Pours the filtered water whilst topping up water in the top chamber. Good product.
