Fast, sharp and 3/4" pine board NO problem
I will be using this hole saw mainly for drywall and 1/4" plywood on my kitchen remodel but wanted to test it out on a 3/4" pine board and it performed excellent. This hole saw is sharp and using my 20 volt drill with a 5AH battery this hole saw had no problem cutting the hole. There was no caking up on the teeth of the hole saw like so many of them tend to do. The hole ended up nice and smooth and turned out to be a nice clean cut. This hole saw will be perfect for the jobs I will be throwing at it. The spring on the bit helped keep the piece of wood from ending up inside the hole saw which made this piece very easy to remove.Excellent value for this 4" hole saw and would definitely recommend.

As good as any hole saw I get from Harbor Freight
I usually get tools like this from Harbor Freight - limited use speciality tools that I only need to get out once in a great while when either building a house or working on a personal construction project. In this case since I'm building a house, having a 4 inch hole saw handy is always good for installing lighting and running ducts. This one works as good as any others I've tried. Since I never use these things for many years at a time, I can't say how long it might last but for the small limited jobs I do, it works great.

Nice hole saw.
This hole saw works perfectly for my needs, which is cutting holes for 4" can lights. The blade arrived sharp and cuts through drywall like butter. The spring was an impediment, but I just pulled it off and it was fine. The pilot bit uses a hex tap screw to hold it in place like most of the hole saws I've ever used. I would certainly order this saw again.
