Gentle Djembe for Beginners, Volume 2

This DVD is a good start for advancing your skills in learning to play a djembe. The instruction is clear and the rhythms are good. I am still working on the first DVD, Gentle Djembe for Begnners but I hope to be able to play these rhythms soon.

As the title implies it is a beginners book. I felt it could have covered a little bit more but again there was no false advertising when it states beginner level. (Which is definately where I was when I bought it).

I have watched this DVD and learned alot.The instructor makes it easier for beginners to follow along. Plus the students in the DVD make mistakes just like me.

This is a great place to start, especially if you haven't done any hand-drumming before. The few basic rhythms and rudiments of hand-drumming on this CD will get you started, either playing along with your favorite music at home, or taking part in a drum circle or other informal "jam session". As you become familiar and comfortable with these instructions, you may want to take up more advanced material, but for the moment, go with this one!

I have reviewed the DVD, and I feel like it was well put together. I feel like my kids will get a lot out of it. They will get it tomorrow as a gift, along with their drums.My Daughter is 32 and, & my Grandson is 3.5 y/o.

Such a fun video, easy to follow, even for this old gal.

This DVD helps a lot with how to go step by step. I am happy with this purchase.

Haven't reviewed this yet as it was for my daughter. The first DVD was excellent so I'm betting this one is too.
