Little Witch Goes to School: A Halloween Book for Kids (Step into Reading)

This book was for my granddaughter and she loved it! I am going to order the other 2 books in theseries.Sorry for the past review when I thought I did not receive my order!

I enjoyed the little witch books growing up. This one has a newer artwork & the storytelling is a little different than the first 2 but it’s still cute. Came fast & in great condition.

The Little Witch series of books were ones that my mom read to my sister & I when we were young. Very few of the toddler books stay with you like these did. When my mom & I started talking about remembering these books, I looked on Amazon & found them for my 4 year old daughter. Now I read them to her & she loves them! She LOVES how Little Witch gets in trouble for things like reading books, cleaning her room & making her bed. She isn't too young to get the irony of it & thinks it's hilarious. We bought them because it's nearing Halloween and she's all into anything scary, but these are great books that can be read all year round.

These are some of her first step 3 books - and she adores them. She's just learning to read nonsense words and she read bibbity and boppity with no issues! I'm so proud and so happy that she likes these books enough to try. I can't find any step 3 books that have her favorite characters (Umizoomi, Dora, etc.) so I was thrilled to find books with a character she could get attached to. She loves Little Witch - all 3 of the books we got for her. I'm hoping to find more.

Little Witch Goes to School (Step-Into-Reading, Step 3) My 4 year old gets a kick out of the Mother witch who tells little witch to misbehave, not make friends, don't learn anything.Little witch tho, wants to go to school and learn. She is disappointed when she finds out her mother packed her lunch box with candy.She just wants a sandwich. She is a good little witch even tho her family tells her not to be good. In the end Mother Witch is pleased because not listening to your mother is bad.

My daughter is just beginning the step 3 books and she really enjoyed this one. She is a great reader for her age (in kindergarten and just turned five) and I thought this might be one she could work up to. It challenges her but not to the point of frustration. The story and illustrations are very cute. We are looking forward to adding more Little Witch stories to her library.

Kids may learn how becoming a witch by being nice to each other, not being bad, helping others & crying when they miss school :)

I love these series. But most important that my son does. I got 40+ books and he loves to read them (usually it is not that easy to make him read). I got mix of 2-3-4 levels for the second grader, second level is too easy, but it creates some fun and he reads them with pleasure. Love it, I would recommend it.

Little Witchシリーズは意地悪をしなければいけないという魔女の前提が苦手だったのですが、この本はそういう場面が冒頭部分以外はあまりなかったので、良かったです。そうだよね～、魔女もいっしょにみんなと仲良く遊びたいよね～ほんわかって感じの1冊です。ちなみにSSSのレベルで1.5です

ハロウィンのお話を探していてかわいい挿絵にひかれて購入しました。教えている子供英会話のクラスで使おうと思っていたのですが、かわいすぎるので自分のものとしてとっておくつもりです（＾－＾）ペーパーバックといっても、挿絵の占めるスペースが多く子供でも楽しく読めると思います。そしてほのぼのした挿絵が本当にかわいいです！今後他のLittle Witchシリーズも揃えていこうと思います。内容は、退屈な魔女が人間の学校に行くお話です。魔女の世界とは違う人間の子供と触れ合って、悪いことをするのが掟の魔女ですが、たくさんのいいことを人間にします。悪いことと良いことを子供に教えるときにも役立ちそうですよ！

It feels so contradicting all the time with the mother witch being so naughty. I do like Little Witch, she is sweet and adorable but I wouldn't have bought this specific book from the series if known all the things mother witch expected from Little Witch.

Grandaughter loves this book she was laughing all the time she was reading it !
