Perfect!
This was purchased to hold my 200watt solar panel. I have an Odyssey and was having difficulty figuring out the most secure way to attach my panel to the roof of the van. Saw this last minute and decided to give it a try. There are so many things to consider when installing anything on the roof of a vehicle. My racks are fixed and do not have a channel. The space between the rails also narrows toward the back of the van. I was able to put the basket together in about 20 minutes and applied the sealant. At first, I thought the clamps were not going to line up right with my fixed, non adjustable racks. But I went ahead and clamped it on loosely at first then tightened down after they were all on and it fit perfectly. Super stoked! The panel, which fit perfectly inside the basket and between the claps, was attached to the basket with U clamps I purchased separately. It’s all on securely and will be simple to take down when necessary. I feel this basket is a great deal for the price and offers a variety of ways to clamp on to racks. So, it likely works on many vehicles. Once tightened up it feels very secure. I like that it came with the necessary hardware and tools. Seems to be good quality and worth the extra effort to seal and paint with some Rustoleum. It’s definitely worth a try. Great solution for me.

Pretty nice for the cost
This thing is pretty sweet for the price point, the finish was pretty good already but I did coat it myself also. The welds look iffy so I guess we will see how it holds up but overall I’m pretty happy with the purchase. It was so easy to put together I never looked at the instructions, I’d recommend you use that entire tube of silicone sealant on any area that might fill with water to prolong the life of the product. I’ll try and remember to do an update on how it aged. All in all would recommend so far 👍🏻

Good value for what you pay for
The whole package is nice to have.Bag: 9/10Overall a good bag, kept things dry and clean.Ive only used the bag once so far, but it's proven to be useful already. We used it without the rack, so just placed it on our car roof with the provided non slip mat and used the provided straps. The non slip mat eventually slid to the back of the roof, but the bag seemed to stay put. The straps are really long. Some came undone from the velcro enclosure throughout the drive, but we figured out a good way to secure it.Rack: 7/10Easy to put together, and fairly easy to put on my car. The product they provided for the welds and bolts did help where they were applied. But it was fussy putting it everywhere. We didn't put it over the top of the bolts. Those rusted within a week of having the rack outside. Along with the little scratches/ low paint areas that were already on the rack out of the box.Would recommend spraying painting it before using it or leaving it outside for an extended period if you do not like the rust showing.

Worked exactly how I needed it
This worked great for my trip from NH to NC.I paired the rack with brightlines crossbars (bought on Amazon as well), which were recommended for my model of car many times in a forum I’m in. I measured the top of my car/cross bar trackings and went with the 64”, which was the perfect size for a 2019 grand cherokee.I put the rack together on my own, had a friend assist me in getting the rack on top of my grand cherokee, and tightened all the brackets on my own. Instructions were clear and I felt confident in doing everything on my own (5’6” female). I drove around with it for a few days before my trip and felt it was secure and it was not noisy. Even with the bag on, it was not super noisy. As far as the bag: it was easy to install, zip, and hook all the straps to the rack. The back straps proved to be a little harder, only because I didn’t have a step stool and stood on the back bumper which isn’t super safe. I felt it was secure with the straps that attach to the bag, but added an extra ratchet strap for the second half of my drive since the highway speeds would be higher. I tucked the excess side straps in my doors but every now and then they would flap in the wind and make noise (just annoying) so next time I’ll tie/tuck them under the bag. It rained for the last half of my drive (8 hours) and everything inside stayed dry! It held A LOT and probably could’ve held more vertically, but some of duffle bags were very full and heavy and I didn’t want to go over the weight limit.I definitely recommend the whole set up - rack and bag. I originally was going to get a roof bag without a rack, but this gave me much more peace of mind that my stuff wasn’t going to fly off my car, and was super easy to build and install.

Looks great-be careful installing
Looks good. Got to be careful not to strip the screws or nuts when installing.
