Chair Clear Mat under Desk
The product is exactly what I wanted. It fits perfectly in my small carpeted office. The instructions were clear and easy and the price is not bad. Well worth the price.

Sharp spikes on bottom
This product is heavy duty, for sure. It looks like it may be difficult to flatten out, as it comes rolled in a box, and it's heavy. The spikes on the bottom are quite sharp. I'm sure it's good for keeping it in place, but I fear it will damage my low pile area rug. Sadly, it's going back.

NOT for low pile. Spikes are TOO LONG.
The spikes on these mats are FAR too long for low pile carpets. DO NOT order these if you have low pile or no pile carpets. These are for your standard or high pile carpets. I'm going to have to take a belt sander to these to shorten the spikes.

It's a fine mat.
Does it's job as advertised and keeps quiet.

Inferior mat, chair causes permanent dents making mobility difficult.
Save your money and buy a more expensive mat. The mat has been in use for less than a week, and is filled with divots from the chair wheels. As others have stated, the chair sinks down into the mat, and it is difficult to roll even back and forth to pull yourself up to the desk because of these deep dents. The mat itself isn't stiff at all, if fact, it's almost mushy feeling on the carpet. I've never had a mat this useless, seriously. I see a new, albeit more expensive one in my very near future. Waste of money, for sure.

OK mat - AWFUL SHIPPING BOX
The mat is shipped rolled up in a very small box. It is very hard to unroll. You must have very heavy objects on each corner to keep it down. After 2 weeks on the carpeted floor the mat is still not laying flat.
