Big toe fits properly in the big toe slot

I have suffered with bunions for decades. I have tried everything to find relief when walking. Once I put this pair of socks on it did the trick! I actually worked 8 hrs on my feet and didn't have pain. They keep my big toe from leaning on the 2nd toe. I had tried a different brand that had compression, and those made my toes feel numb/sore. These socks don't have compression. Just comfort.

These have taken care of my crossover toe issue due to a bunion.. only need right foot but will sacrifice having 2 for the comfort and help it has given to my issue.Probably ordering more.

Not as expected, sits to low

These socks are most unusual, but their design is why they work so well!If you have bunions, then you know that your big toe is bent towards your other toes, and the base of your big toe is painful. These socks have the toes split like a foot mitten (AKA a Japanese tabi sock), and that keeps the big toe comfortably straight. Also, there is gel-like pad on the inside for cushioning your swollen toe joint.You can wear these socks in shoes and while sleeping. They also launder well.I took a star off the score for two reasons:1. If you have a particularly long second toe that is prone to being a hammer toe, I don't recommend these.2. If you wear a size 12, these are a bit too short, so that the heel has to be stretched tighter to make it fit.All in all, they're very helpful!
