These shoes are light and comfortable and suited for general walking and light workouts. The inherent wide design is very accommodating and non-restrictive, but even better in the X-wide option if that is your preferred fit. The shoe has the "tongue" integrated into the top with laces and can be slipped into without untying the laces.

I went with the suggested size of 14W and although would be ok, the 13W is a bit less sloppy. I exchanged for 13W and love the shoe.

I have been wearing these while doing daily activities and on my walking trails for the last week now. They are a little stiff when first wearing them but they have started to get more comfortable. I will be adding my own heal cushions for extra cushion. They seem very sturdy and built well. I have a size 11 Wide. It seems like it runs a tad small compared to other Wide sneakers I have had, but it is not that much difference. The price was great with the coupons Amazon offered at checkout.This shoes doesn't really have a tongue like other sneakers. It slips on your foot like a boot. I think this is good since it feels better on my feet and can kind of slip them on without un tying them. I am looking at another pair to try out now as well since the price is great on a lot of the shoes at Fitville.Edit 10/13 check in:Shoes are still holding up and have broken in nicely. I ordered my husbands usual size 14 extra wide. He needs wide toe box for comfort. These were over an inch too long and therefore several sizes too large. It seems to be a very nice shoe and attractive, but I don't know what size to order to get a proper fit.

These are a large form shoe bordering on a small boot but they are very light with a rigid sole. I received the shoes and at first thought they were a bit small. But, I think that was due to the new materials needing to stretch a bit - which they did within several minutes after wearing them.
