good clean cut on perspex
I was making pulleys for 6mm wide GT2 drive belts from 8mm thick perspex, these cutters are long enough to go in and make the teeth while leaving a flange on one side. I cut three 40 tooth wheels with no tool breakages, and a clean cut that only needed a quick tidy to remove a little flash. (the basic shape was roughed out with a 1.5mm cutter first). I've also found that dropping the spindle speed by reducing the voltage from 24V to 12V helps prevent the plastic melting onto the tool.
