I’m absolutely obsessed!!This follows the story of Maddox (Lucky Hit’s Oakley & Ava’s son) and Braxton, his childhood best friend.This fake dating, kind of second chance, best friends to enemies to lovers is everything you could want!Maddox is the superstar hockey player, who’s facing a dilemma and struggling to deal with the experiences from his past, especially those that involved Braxton. He is so incredibly adorable, witty and very sexy. He had my heart melting and racing throughout!Braxton is the badass vet and animal shelter owner. Like Maddox, she is struggling with experiences of her past and the guilt she feels about what could have been with Maddox. I found myself relating to Braxton due to the insecurity that she feels about her physical appearance. This is something that was written in such a real way, I really appreciated it. Maddox was always there to reassure her and show her just how beautiful she really is🫶🏻They are 100% SOULMATES🥹 Maddox continuously made it clear through words, emotions and actions that there was no one else for him but Braxton…that one scene specifically revealed that Maddox isn’t exactly your typical playboy hockey player🥹 That just made me fall for him even more!I absolutely adored getting to see Ava and Oakley as parents!! The found family element is still so prominent, which I loved! We also got to see some of the other kids, all grown up which was pretty cool!Seriously, I will recommend this book to everyone. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the next generation series has in store!As a curvy girl myself, the dedication got me🥹Hannah you’ve done it again!!🫶🏻

This is the second generation series and Hannah did not come to play! Just when you thought Oakley couldn’t be beat, his son shows up to the party and Maddox is sexy as sin.Maddox is a sexy hockey player and Braxton is a sweet veterinarian, and I really enjoyed reading these two soulmates find each other and fall in love again. It’s got everything you could want from a second chance romance!! This is definitely my favourite Hannah Cowan book so far which is saying a lot since I love all of them!

(((spoiler free)))Hannah Cowan has always been one of my favourite authors and I'm so honoured to be in her Arc team to have read this masterpiece early. To be honest this might be my favourite book of Hannah's.Her greatest mistake follows childhood best friends, Maddox Hutton and Braxton Heights, as they meet again after eight years and a series of unfortunate events bring the two together in a fake dating pact.I don't know what to say more besides that this is a must read. It has an amazing storyline and it's fast paced and great representation for plus sized main character.Dox is 🥵 and Braxton's biggest hype man! and I adore the fact that Braxton is confident in her body and that the plus sized subject is touched and dealt with greatly.This book can be read as a standalone, but the whole "Greatest Love" series is a sequel series to The Swift Hat-Trick trilogy. And if you have read at least Lucky Hit(the first book), Maddox is Oakley and Ava's oldest child!

I was one of the lucky people picked to receive an ARC copy of this beautiful book.I am so so grateful to have been chosen because this book was just absolute perfection. I cannot get over how perfect everyone was. Not only did we get to see Oakley and Ava again but also Tyler & Gracie along with all the beautiful children and family they created.Swift Hat Trilogy was an ultimate comfort series for me and I am so happy to say this second generation series will get to continue that comfort for me. I was so in love with Maddox and Braxton from the start. The flashbacks to their childhood and how much they changed and how they came back together was so amazing.Maddox is this perfect man who has been obsessed with Braxton since kindergarten and as soon as he gets the chance to have her again he makes sure he will NEVER lose her again. Braxton is this beautiful, curvy girl who has never forgiven herself for the mistake she made years ago but when she gets the chance to make it all right again she does it without a second thought because she loves Maddox so much.The way their relationship was nowhere near fake even from the start was just intoxicating!!!!!! The way these two thought they could go through with a fake relationship with no repercussions was so funny. I love how they both slowly broke down and just opened up right away because they knew it was never gonna change and they were gonna be together always…and forever.I am so so so so in love with this book, these characters,this whole universe it makes my heart so so warm. I have always loved Hannah's books but she OUTDID herself with Her Greatest Mistake. This book releases January 23rd and you will not wanna miss it!!!5⭐️♾️ for Maddox and Braxton

Hors cette promesse a été rompue par Braxton au grand désarroi de Maddox.Depuis qu'ils se connaissent Maddox à toujours été amoureux de Braxton.On ne peut que s'attacher à chaque personnage, Maddox à été un coup de cœur phénoménal !! J'ai adoré son caractéristique, sa façon d'être et comment il est avec Braxton. Dès qu'il parlait à B. je tombais vraiment avec elle. Il a toujours su trouver les mots.Braxton, j'avais envie de rentrer dans le livre pour la serrer dans mes bras, elle mérite le bonheur et d'être aimée.Une belle romance avec de beaux personnages.

I love second-chance romances and the way Hannah writes her characters always makes me speechless. You can always connect with at least one character in her books. I related to Braxton this whole book – I adored her to pieces.Maddox and Braxton were close friends while growing up – no one ever doubted that they would be an inseparable couple once they get older. But it wouldn’t make sense if they simply became a couple and everything would be all sunshine and rainbows, right?Maddox Hutton is a well-known hockey player with a kickass hockey career – some people know of him and root for him because of his father, Oakley Hutton. But Maddox is one of a kind! He doesn’t want to be known as his father's son, when it comes to his career, he wants to just be Maddox Hutton – Star Hockey Player. He wants people to see him as an individual. His contract is up for renewal and he desperately needs to keep himself out of trouble – but one phone call puts all of that in jeopardy. Luckily, his agent and coach have the perfect plan to fix all this – but Maddox won’t be happy about this.Braxton Heights, our kind-hearted leading sunshine. I feel insecure in my body and feel like no one will ever like me. The way Braxton learned to love her body and wore outfits that made her feel beautiful and confident – made me rethink how I see myself. But it takes time to feel good in our body and feel confident and beautiful – and Braxton feels this way in the book but Maddox makes her feel special and beautiful the whole time. He didn’t care how she looks because he loves her no matter what. Also, the way he waited 26 years for her!! 26 years!!! Also, he had a whole shelf for her with sweets because he knows that she has a sweet tooth. UGHHHH! Every girl needs a Maddox in her life.Also, we need more FMC like Braxton in romance books and Miss Hannah Cowan – she gave us Braxton and I will forever thank her and love her for that!! This book was one of my most anticipated reads of 2023 and it didn’t disappoint.

Her Greatest Mistake was a great read and I really enjoyed it. However, it was a little bit too cheesy for me sometimes and since there are a lot of these books out there, I feel like authors sometimes try too hard to make the characters special with their interests, jobs etc and this was a little like that. But I still really likes the characters personalities and it was a good fake dating story.
